American HomePatient tick toc tick toc

the reason managers are not leaving is because there are no good jobs out there. Plus, what do you think could possibly happen to them? If something ever happens to them, there are still patients to be cared for and a business to run so somebody would have to take care of that. As bad as AHOM is and as bad as they are ran, nobody in the industry could absorb their existing business without keeping a good portion of their current staff on board. Plus, who in their right mind would take over this business. Upper management knows that the business is so crappy that nobody will want them plus they have their golden parachutes so worse case scenario, they get fired and get a huge severence. It is the epitome of what is wrong with big corporations.

anybody know the sleep specialist they hired and fired? A good example of the trash they hire at this company.

"The" sleep specialist? Like there is only one? With almost 300 branches and a dozen areas, chances are there is more than one sleep specialist. Maybe if you said the name of the hillbilly backwater you live in we could get a better idea of who you might be talking about.

does it matter?.....they are all the same. I have traveled to every state and Jeff Foxworthy was right. Redneck are everywhere. AHP just had more than their share.

You would think that they could at least acknowledge to everyone that something is going on. Instead they just let all there employees find out things on boards like these. Someone needs to step up to the plate.

Why are you so mean? Did you work for them before? Granted something needs to be done but the problems they are having start at Corp. Level. There are good employees with the bad I am sure. That is who is hurting from all of this.

Sad, isn't it. Funny that it is #7 and no one talks about it. I think corporate, AVP's, and GM's owe it to their employees to at least acknowledge something is going on. Not a work mentioned...I guess we have to rely on "amnet" to keep us posted!

I love how Amnet just replaces 1st with 2nd, 2nd with 3rd, 3rd with 4th, etc. concerning the forbearances. We've learned more from the internet than we have from our own people. What's sad is when you're pretty much told to just do your job and not worry about it.

I work for the competition and I hope they stay in business! I hate to see anyone lose their job, especially with things being bad. Plus competition is good, keeps us on our toes, and, gives one another alternative place to work if things don't work out at current job. It's a tough and very competitive business to be in that's for sure, but we don't have to cut each others throats. Just treat people right and goods things will happen. Of course, that assuming the obvious: That corporate greed and stupidity doesn't do you in.

"That corporate greed and stupidity doesn't do you in". Do you know ANYTHING about American Homepatient's CEO of 10 years? Greed and stupidity are the perfect descriptors.

Does anyone know how far they can push a no compete? Do all DME companies do this or just AHP? Is there away to get out of it since they are in so much financial trouble and it is not stable. I would consider it not stable work place with a 7th forbearance.

I wouldn't worry about the non compete. AHP has no money and would not come after you. someone leaving for another job is the least of their worries. I know that Apria does not have a non compete for sales anyway.

How are things in the offices at AHP these days.. good luck to all the hard workers
