All offers out

People will back out for multiple reasons. Current employer matches salary, cold feet about no fleet, non-compete, benefits package, and the amount of work and risk of new drug launch. Like another said, I don't see many people backing out until after FDA approval. "Rumor" of people already leaving just seems like made up negativity. People shouldn't be accepting an offer for a job they are so unsure of that they bail before even the thought of getting started.

reps who are jobless can’t afford to be picky. jobless reps will accept an offer and keep looking for something better. it’s also been stated on here it would be foolish to bail between now and January. easiest pharma jobs on the planet are working for a company for 3-4 months prior to a product being launched. the way this is shaping up is no need to buy a car until January so milk it, double dip or whatever you have to do to collect 3/4 months free salary.

There are a few reps in my Region here at _____ company that need this change and know for a fact their manager is aware they've already interviewed and accepted an offer. He's even gone as far as saying that he wants this process with Sage to hurry up. I guess it's always easier for managers to have low performers leave as opposed to going down the PIP path. This is where a lot of these companies like Sage will end up with mediocre reps.

Otsuka, Alkermes, and Intracellular are all places in Psych that aren't great right now, unless your manager is great. If you work at one of those companies with a bad manager, it's horrible, and many employees there are desperate to get out, but that doesn't mean they are all mediocre. Sometimes good reps end up in bad places.

Enjoy driving your Chevy Spark cars. Sage is some cheap bastards.

Typical pharma rep entitlement. Free is free and some of us coming here could care less about the damn car as long as it gets us from point A to point B. Last time I checked, offices didn't block me from coming in because of the car I drive.

spot on! Top performers who respect themselves, have confidence and are willing to take a calculated risk leave first low to mediocore performers tend to hang around longer than they should. Complacency and a willingness to settle have ruined many a career

Hey Dumbo you apparently missed the memo about no company cars. Guess you did not get an offer here.

My MIL is looking for a new car she has an excellent credit score. Her rate for a used (2 year old) Honda CRV was going to be 7.3% and the payment was going to be $650 a month. She was trading in a used 2017 CRV. This isn’t looking good for those of us needing to buy car. The market right now just blows because of rates.

The solution to this is simple. Save up your money and only pay cash for car purchases. You’re welcome.
