No severance?? That is BS. The people who were let go do not deserve this! Although Doc is probably a great scientist, he has no idea how to operate a business. He is all sizzle, no steak. Remember if AIT goes down, he still got 65 mil!

The word is that none of these people got a severance and were just fired by bob from the bank. I know a few of them and some of them were really good people. It's sad because some of them believed in the company and it showed. Fired with no severance during Christmas is cold blooded

AIT won't close - it'll be bought out or purchased by another lab as instrumentation, accounts etc. are valuable. I do see this as a possibility.

Really? How do you stay in business if you aren't marketing and selling? Is AIT going to contract those services out as well? There are businesses that do, but that is usually not a desirable position to have to be in. What company would buy a company that is up to its eyeballs in debt? Several chemists have been laid off, and others were fired over the past six months. Most of the lab bench people aren't that expensive to keep, and the bank is trying to recoup as much of its loan as it can - they need the bench production people to do that.
