the length of the contract means absolutely nothing, zero!!

you can be canned when working directly for a pharma company as well. There is no loyalty anymore, an entire sales force can just be eliminated. CSO, pharma company, not much difference.

Accepting a verbal offer and continuing to interview elsewhere is unethical, IMO. First, you could be taking a spot from someone else who's really committed to this opportunity. If IQVIA finds out you're still going on interviews with other companies, they could rescind the offer. I had an interview scheduled yesterday and I'm still getting calls from recruiters for some great opportunities but keeping my integrity is very important to me so I declined and withdrew for other processes.

It's an OFFER. You have not started yet. Unethical?? Hardly. Taking the pot from someone who is committed? If you rescind the offer, they will probably be the person to replace you anyhow. Idiot.

Notified today by background check that company I worked for 9 years ago isn’t responding. No kidding. They’re out of business! So now I have to send in W2 for when I worked there...which I don’t have because who keeps tax information beyond 7 years??? And it took you 2 weeks to get to this point??? If this contract is run anything like the background check it may be a blessing in disguise to not pass this cavity search.

Sounds like you got your excuse ready for not getting the job. Instead of blaming the company, maybe you should have proactively told them the situation.

It’s very easy to get past W-2s.

Dates are June 3 - 7. Flying in Mon morning, if need to come in Sun will require manager approval. Not sure what time we can schedule flights out on Fri yet. Supposed to be sending invites and info this tomorrow or Thur. iPads, training materials etc to be delivered Sat.

Launch meeting is June 3-7. They want us to fly in Monday morning, can fly in Sunday with manager approval. Not sure what time out we can schedule flights Fri. Supposed to be sending out invites and more info Wed or Thur. Manager told us we should expect iPads, training materials, etc to arrive Sat. Managers are in Raleigh at a meeting thus week - the feedback has been very positive thus far

The meeting begins Monday June 3 around noon but if just hired you will not receive an invite until all the background check and drug test. It took mine two weeks to clear.

How do we know if we’ve been cleared and background checks all done and clear?? Are we supposed to get an email from HR or manager?

Haven’t received any emails from recruiter, manager or HR since submitting everything. This is some weird sh*t

Manager will call you and say that you passed the background check, welcome aboard, here's what's going on...

Same.. haven’t heard squat.. how long did everyone’s background checks take?? Can’t see why it would take more than a week max! These days companies have a website where new employers can check dates of employment etc

Anyone know when we can submit our expense report and be able to include cell and internet allowance, office supplies etc?
Is expense reports every two weeks or monthly here? This info is not on onboarding paperwork.
