You losers in Hum and HCV have been telling us this for many years. Guess what, we are all still here and having a great time!
Our leadership looks out for us because they know we are the best sales people in Abbvie.
We work smart and hard and always deliver. HCV not so much. You guys are doing a pathetic job with huge drops in sales for many quarters in a row. Hum is going to get caught up in their underwear soon because their quotas are postured to continue to climb as they are expected to make up the shortfall. Have fun with that!
We in met are just biding our time waiting for a new venture to fall in our lap. Thats why they keep all of us here. We are the key utility sales team here and they need us!

ah, the new venture for endo. Yeah, that is for endo, not for MET. Probably AE based and, again, not for sample droppers. Maybe 30 AEs nationwide, 5 districts ( ahem, regions because that is how we roll ), a SD and maybe some minions.

Are you ready to interview for AE - consider half of roles reserved for H reps who want a change and other set aside for, i dont know, pets and shit.

What is the population of MET...250 or so? You are all waiting for a few slots to pop. Mandrogel, suprisingly, is still being sold - damn, that is that like. Cant say this, cant say that - no samples - best job ever. Just as soon as esampling is initiated, which needs to happen, for synth, then its over. done done done.

Why not esample synth? Its been on the market for 50 years...cannot believe we still have a marketing team. What, you never heard of the COLTS study from 1971...well, at the Colorado State fair....

I will say this - no one has turned more blood from a Rock than JH - think what you want ( he is sort of greasy ), he has sheltered you fuckers a long time. i tip my hat. Now, all we have to do is weather the litigation and we are home free.

Remember - tricor and niaspan still outsell Mandrogel.

No shit Sherlock. Metabolics will go down as the biggest sham in Pharma history.
Everyone knows they are completely unjustifiable and the most flagrant example of
unneccessary spending in the industry. Tell us something new. This fiasco has been going on for years. Met shows quarter after quarter, yr after yr of steep sales slumps, the key product gets a black box warning and deemed an unneeded risk by key opinion leaders, a fifty year old drug is used to justify an entire brigade of people and on and on and on it goes.
I am one of those in a franchise this pompous ass called out as having to work my ass off to meet ever increasing targets while he "coasts" as a totally protected entity.
You mention JH as the reason but he is just the symptom of this festering house of cards.
No appropriate accountability and pathetic leadership from the top down.

Sorry to disappoint you but I'm another one only itching for a pkg to get outta here. Retirement eligible with completely livable and in fact, living large, cash flow with this pension and niiiice 401K balance I have amassed. I am a young 50+ and in no big hurry to just retire without a free year pay.

To be completely honest, the one thing that keeps me here is the Metabolic cluster joke. See them always on glider mode with no rationale from a financial standpoint to keep such a huge salesforce around. I've seen it going on as I have changed sales positions into 3 different franchises.
I just play the passive aggressive role and figure if Metabolics reps can get away with it, good luck getting me to do other then bare minimal. My boss doesnt give a shit as he is also retirement eligible and we talk about the inconsistent way Abbvie handles their reps from a work ethic and expectation standpoint. Just a political circus here.
This latest Wallstreet disappointment today will hopefully be the catalyst to get them to start thinning the dead wood. Call me Woody. Until they payup I'll be here milking this absolutely fabulous job. I'm not stupid enough to just walk away from a job paying me a higher hourly salary then Trump! Oh yeah, free rig is awesome too.

I think Metabolics is safer than most realize, including those in Metabolics. Should know within the next 3 to 6 months.
