What about a certain local GP (Dr Mengele) who does Abbotts evil bidding by sending cancer patients back into work, telling them "they're fine". First, do no harm. Hippocrates would be spinning in his urn. Shame on Abbott. Shame on Dr Mengele.
Basically...if you're not dead, you can work. "Our" nurses are not better than dr. Mengele..heard tons of stories when women with pregnancy complications heard from them "miscariage in pregnancy happens very often, it's not a disease and you can back to work" even if they had letters from GPs and specialist.

This place has no respect for its workers from a health perspective. People's wellbeing is the last thing they care about. Abbott policy is get them back to work and work them to death.
Everything's correct about that statement, except one thing: Abbott does not want to work you to death (that will cost them far too much - 3x wage pay-out to your next of kin).
No, Abbott wants to work you out the door! If you finally break and quit from the overloading of work and total disregard shown by your masters for your physical and emotional well-being, that's perfect as far as Abbott is concerned... another future redundancy payment avoided!
Impress the shareholders and reduce the head count by any cost-saving means necessary = bonus payout for the top men at Abbott Clonmel. Everyone's happy! Oh, except for 99% of staff, but sure, they don't count

Another bunch of decent people handed in their notice this week. 14% unemployment in this country and still people can't run out of this sh*t hole fast enough. A good few people have left with no jobs to go to, rather than risk nervous breakdowns.

Also me, I from east Europe also. Ireland very nice and Ireland people very nice, but not Abbott people. My supervisor say to me to be quiet if I think we are doing bad quality work or sometimes not safe, he say that if i report this i will end up back in Lubelszczyzna so fast with no money and no job. Sometimes I am scared in this place, it remind me of Mokotów prison in Warzawa. My illusions are broken by Abbott.
U people are so funny. U see something unsafe please report. If u see bad quality please report report and report. Otherwise nothing is going to change. If your supervisor does not care go to manager or qc or qe. They cant let u go for reporting what is wrong with this place. This way bad supervisor kight be sacked or moved somewhere else. And next time your supervisor tells u to go to poland please record this conversation.
