Having been on many Q contracts, I'm aware that there are times when specific sales forces have been handled differently than individual applicants who are applying for positions, whether or not they've been with Q before. Does it seem logical that you were given an offer prior to being interviewed in New Jersey by the Regionals behind this contract? No, it doesn't, but stranger things have happened here. Does the contract start on 8/19? No, it doesn't. Finalists will be headed to New Jersey during the week of 8/19 to interview with Regional Managers, after which, offers will be made.

In any case, your info isn't credible enough for your attitude to be so self righteous, so bring it down a notch and have some consideration for those trying to get through this process.

Lol. Believe what you wish. There are many positions that have been filled and those start dates are 8/19. I do think it's hilarious that you seem to believe that you know so much but yet you know very little about this contract.

That's why I love CP. So many arrogant, obnoxious know it all's with little to no real knowledge about what's truly going on. My information is much more credible than yours as I'm involved in this process while you're sitting at your computer offering opinion.

I got an offer today...I was told 8/13 start date. I was on the Abbvie contract. That is who they were contacting and filling positions with first....and even more so, it was those reps with documentable diabetes exp. from there, they were interviewing those who were on the Abbvie contract with no diabetes exp and then looking elsewhere. They had certain territories that were being interviewed for and filled first, and then interviewing and hiring for other territories. If you have an interview scheduled for the future weeks, then it's for a position that they didn't fill with an Abbvie rep. Simple as that...some of you need to cool down and trust the process.

He moron, nice job identifying yourself to Quintiles HR and sharing proprietary company info on a public site. Good move, and thanks for opening your position back up!

The rep postings for this contract started late Friday 7/26, and continued through Tuesday 7/30. I'm not knocking those who say they have had a face to face interview already (great for them if they have!), but having said that, scheduling and completing a face to face interview in less than a 5 or 6 day turnaround (business days) from the posting date seems a bit difficult to accept realistically, especially if you consider at least one phone screen thrown in there somewhere, as opposed to the typical third party phone questions AND the DM phone screen. Even for a previous Q employee, speaking just from the standpoint of logistics, it seems it would be very tough to pull off.

Not calling anyone a liar out there, so no need to throw spitballs. Just sayin' that this is "Cafepharma", after all, and the price of admission requires that logic and a bit of skepticism be applied. Wishing everyone the best of Luck!

Actually, it does sometimes happen this way. For my previous Q contract, there was only a phone screen and one f2f interview with the local q mgr. this all happened within a few days, from phone screen to offer.

Phone interviewed on 8/1, f2f Interviewed on 8/5, received an offer on 8/8 and YES! the contract does start on 8/19. No regional interviews in NJ. 4 year contract. Car allowance til end of year, then fleet cars.

Hope that helps!!!!

Yes this position is for Sanofi and Lantus is going generic soon. However they do have 2 products in the pipeline that are slated for 2014 and 2015. However, one question I have is why were some reps initially hired on through Inventiv last month and now they are using Quintiles??

I understand that those that were hired through Inventiv will stay on their contract. Quintiles offered a better contract to Sanofi and so the subsequent contract went to Q. The Sanofi DM will therefore have Sanofi reps, Inventiv, and Quintiles reps all reporting to them.

Actually, the first round of interviews are being conducted this week by Q employees. They are instructed to choose 2 people from each territory to go to NEW JERSEY (not Houston or Dallas) next week, Tues or Wed. The Sanofi admin will choose one of the 2 and offers will go out by the end of the week next week. This is fact. Home study will begin mid Sept for 3 weeks and the be at corporate for 2 weeks.
