6566

Perfect Poster here - I have not gotten the email stating that the contract is cancelled, but I have been contacted by a rep who was scheduled thier face to face this afternoon, and they got a call this am, stating that the client backed out, the contract is no more. I don't think it is a matter of another contract firm getting the contract, I believe Lilly and Amilyn may have worked out thier differences without having to go to a contract sales force. This sucks for us.

The purdue contract has a GPA specification...2.8, just like their regular reps do.

Have a phone screen today. Applied with referal from current Quintiles rep - do think this helps. Was laid off from Novartis 6 months ago -along with 1400 others. Am 52 and feeling paranoid about that - almost makes me want to lie about college grad date. I know you don't have to give that info but if you don't give it then maybe they think you are hiding something. Not a good feeling either way. I have had 5 pharma interviews with minimum competition being about 6 candidates.
Can't imagine trying to do this at age 56 or 59 - must get even worse.

Yes, it does! Doesn't matter what awards you've won, background, experience, references, how well you look, etc.
