6326 contract













Anybody on this contract now that can give a rational opinion of it? I emphasize rational - please keep your douchey whining to yourself...

I will give you some thought on the contract so far, based on my experience. I have been lucky because the DM in my district has been really great and doesn't get irrational or unreasonable. I am getting a new DM due to the expansion and hope it goes well. The response to an old cheap product being revisited and brought to modern day safety standards is very mixed. Some doctors will appreciate the new safety data and some will tell you to go blow and get out of the office. If a doctor has 20 patients who get the medication for a decent price and 1 patient who doesn't, watch out. The doctor may throw out all positive experience for one negative.

The last bonus was very generous and was based some on performance and some on market clearance. URL gave reps with low historical use of colchicine a conversion factor option which paid out nicely. The next bonus plan won't be as generous and will be based on your territory performance because conversion will be over.

The biggest issue is cost. The new information on colchicine is useful and puts a good medication back into use.

Im on this contract and this rep is dead on to what to expect. Expect to hear more negative than positive and get your armor polished. You will get scripts though because colchicine works on gout. Most physicians get upset on the price.
 






























I had a interview with the recruiter last week and took an asessment test.. what is the next step or has any one taken the test and got a face to face. Is it with a QDM or URL DM?

I received a call from a Quintiles manager about a week ago regarding a posititon on this contract. I completed the assessment and I just received an email from Quintiles stating that "Due to business reasons, we have decided to discontinue this search". Business reasons? What does this mean?
 






I'm in the SE and interviewing this week. Any tips/help would be appreciated. Is it true they're discontinuing interviews for "business reasons" or was this just a nice way to let a candidate down?
 












I just found out that my position with a pharma company will most likely be eliminated very soon so am interested in this contract. Does anyone know the Dm for Knoxville, TN or if someone has already been hired for that area?

I worked several contracts for Innovex a few years ago and would really like to come back to contracts as the big pharma BS is totally over the top now!

Quintiles DM. Basic interview questions...situational questions, "Give me an example on how you handled this situation..."

Use the S.T.A.R. format to answer your questions. Also be prepared to do a quick role play of Colcyrs. You will get a visual aid at the interview. You should go over the PI from the web and also know about the disease state and competitors.

Mine was today (Wed) think I did ok...she really liked my Colcrys presentation.
