6275 tic toc

Thanks for the info. Did your recruiter happen to mention if the contract (6297) was signed yet? Does anybody have any concrete info on this contract being signed?

I never even approached the subject with my recruiter. Quite honestly, aside from the fact that I don't share the concern that many do about whether or not the contract is signed, it seems an odd and innapropriate question to ask a recruiter. Seems to me, as long as she is discussing current business oportunities with me, she's obviously working under an assumption that if it hasn't been signed yet, it soon will be. I'm mystified by the obsession over knowing, along with the fact that the question is asked about every 10 seconds on this board. Take a deep breath people, you'll hear when it's been signed, I guarantee you that!

Does anyone know... have they called anyone to start the interviews for 6297? I know it's probably too early but I am just anxious.

And... has anyone who was 6275, still not been contacted by phone or email from a recruiter? I haven't!

I communicate with my recruiter frequently, and no, interviews haven't been scheduled yet.

I do have a question for you, though... What in the world gave you the impression that if you were with 6275 you would be contacted by a recruiter?

Uhhh... because 6275 employees had their furlough extended for a third time through Aug 31... read the writing on the wall people... 6275 folks will be slotted for many of these jobs since we are all considered internal, active employees. I know this seems unfair to many of you... but we have been waiting for a contract since Jan 23. If you are 6275 and have not been provided the details of the contract I suggest you contact some people in you district, HR or NQ field manager.

This thread was really starting to become positive until you chimed in....go back to bed you grouchy jerk!

I am a 6275 employee and I in no way feel that this job is slotted for me. There are other projects out there that have gone down and have internal reps waiting as well. We are not the only contract that got our furloughs extended either. I've spoken with a recruiter and a RM and both have told me that nothing is guaranteed to 6275.

Doubtful it has been signed. A flurry of activity will take place when signed. Until then sit and wait. Novaquest will be like a proud Poppa when it is signed and most that care will know. Think how long this has been in the works.

Makes sense. I appreciate your cordial comment, unlike the jerk below who answered.

Good for you that you don't share the concern. But most of us will breath a bit easier when the contrat is actually in ink. We've been told since March that a contract is close to being signed. If you remember before, these positions were listed once and taken down.

No longer are positions being slotted for 6275. It should however secure you an interview. Too much time has passed. If a contract would have been inked back in March or April then 6275 would have been rolled over but not now. Some have moved on and some onto other contracts. Too much expense and too many positions to be filled not to do it across the country. Just my 2 cents.

Spoke to recruiter and that is incorrect. 6275 will be positioned on contract if one open in that employee's territory. From what I understood her say, a current employee is an internal candidate and is assigned a territory. If there is not an internal employee for a territory that is available then they will interview external candidates. This is all the info I have.

Okay. Thank you I guess I will call my Regional Manager who is 6275.

That's great if it's true but just be cautious because I'm 6275 as well and that's not what I was told. Either way, I would be prepared to have to compete against both internal and external candidates. If we don't have to, that's great. It's clear from the posts on here that different recruiters are giving different information.

Correcting my error....breathe not breath

Amazing... I had actually started to believe that the war was over between 6275 and every other displaced NQ rep who is not 6275, but I should have realized that I was giving the ignorant, rude, misinformed, self important assholes who have done such a wonderful job of ruining the reputation of the 6275 salesforce, way too much credit! I've been first to post a very large amount of information on YOUR board, sharing what I know and assuming you stupid fucks (you know exactly which ones you are) were adult enough to realize that you are currently standing on a completely level playing field, but again, I overestimated you and your ability to act like civilized applicants, who, along with everyone else, is looking to gain a spot on the upcoming contract. Yup, my language is pretty bad, which sadly, I feel absolutely no reason to control among such a petty, immature, attention seeking bunch such as yourselves. It is unfortunate that it only takes a few of you to give others such a bad feeling about your whole salesforce, but unfortunately it's true. Gotta hand it to you though, almost a full ten days went by before you assholes emerged from under that rock you've been sleeping under. I have no further use for your board, you're welcome to have it back, you'll need it to blow smoke up each others asses about "your" new contract. You truly are pathetic!

I am from contract 6275 and even I have been annoyed by the postings of others on this contract. We have not been promised anything. Yes, had this contract come along a few months ago and been a pain drug, there might have been a good chance of that. But, on the last conference call someone asked if we were going to compete against other Novaquest sales forces and we were told that we probably would. Further, the positions that are posted on the Innovex website are also currently posted on Careerbuilder.com. Don't get me wrong, I would love to be "guaranteed" a job, but to come to this board and come across as though we are the chosen few is ridiculous. We have been laid off since January and for those who are laid off from other contracts, it has to be very frustrating. Also, for as long as this has taken and for as many times as the story has changed, only a fool would consider this a done deal until they have a written offer in their hands.

I sincerely hope you don't get the job... I can tell already you would be the person everyone hates at training. Do us all a favor and fall head first off your roof sometime between now and when the interviews start.

I AGREE!! I am also from 6275 and I have been annoyed from some of the posts as well. I still talk to a number of collegues from 6275 and all of them feel the same way. It is competely insane how some of these people are carrying on how this is "our" contract. Yes, at one time we were led to believe that we would be "rolled" into this contract...that was back in March...things have obviously changed. I would just like to thank those from other contracts who have posted meaningful updates on this thread even though you had to read a bunch of bullshit from some of the ignorant 6275 reps. Please know that it is not all of us. I actually stopped visiting the site awhile back due to the negativity and only recently have I began checking it again. I was just thinking yesterday how positive this thread looks now. I guess I thought too soon. Good luck to everyone who is an internal candidate, no matter what contract you came from.

The whole spill about how negative people are being is a crock. These 6275 reps arent being negative on here. They are the few who are telling the facts. Everytime I read how someone who says they are 6275 and they don't feel they should have the upper hand at getting the new contract... it's so immature and obvious your not on 6275. No one believes this emotional spill you keep posting. Get some thick skin and stop being emotional.

By lashing back you are only pouring gas on the fire. Shake it off. You know what the truth is. If anybody on 6275 think they are guaranteed anything then the joke is on them. Why do you think there are interviews? You should not get emotional about this. Before yes 6275 was promised jobs but now that is not the case. There is good stuff here and some BS and you have to sift through it but you have to check the emotions at the door.
