C'mon. Genentech has become so political with the ass kissing...
Unbelievable who gets hired and not hired.

Oncology is the one franchise with their head so in the clouds; can't even see docs...
The battle is who goes in to see the doc amongst the 10 reps??? Please!

HR really needs to improve the hiring practices; GSTAFF = Politics and BS!

Be human and interview in a normal fashion.

It's hard to interview in a normal fashion because of all the favorites, ass kissing, and show put on when the are already favorites in the process.

Total Nirvana. I have not worked a three day week yet this year. Given what government workers get paid for not going to work, they would be so pissed at us. Heading to the gym tomorrow for 2 hours, then lunch, then a manicure. This is like stealing from a child working at Genentech.

Why do you have a problem with the company providing a benefit like this for moms? The company is great offering a work optional program as well. Having a base salary of over 125K and work being optional is a great benefit program. I doubt many companies offer a benefit like this. I know many men take advantage of this program, just like many women do. We have a luxury charging whatever we want for our drugs. Raise the price a percent or two is no problem since the insurance companies have an unlimted amount of money to cover.

Totally love work optional. Made over 175K last year and worked 93 days. About 2K per day. The only job that pays better for part time work is being a United States Congressman. Genentech has to be the highest paying part time job in the world. Having drugs that demand high end pricing is great. I beleive that at Genentech we are entitled to these salaries.

Sorry Pal Boy. PD-L1, buying Exelixis, biosimilars providing little price relief, this gravy train goes on for another 10 years at least Pal. Part time job for full time pay. There is nothing the Cancer Community can do. We have them in the palm of our hand. Just rub your managers thigh, drink heavily and enjoy. There is not a better part time job in the world.

OMG, stop the drama. We are just in the right place and Genentech can charge what they want. We do well. Think of us as a junior Martin Shkreli. We will not be buying a Wu-Tang Clan album, but we make solid jack and rarely have to work. At the end of the day, someone has to pay the cost of the drugs, so the insurance company takes care of most of the cost, no big deal. Now excuse me, I have a day to work this week.
