1. Myriad Genetics patent infringement lawsuit.
2. Millennium Laboratories antitrust lawsuit.
3. CFO departure.
4. Controller departure.
5. Chief Commercial Officer departure.
6. Chief Strategy Officer departure.
7. Sales force fired.
8. Regional sales management gone.
9. HR manager gone.
10. JP and KO still running the show.

You kind of run out of things to talk about.

What HR Manager is gone? I was laid off barely 3 months into my employment and had a conversation with one of the HR people about what I had heard from previous people who worked there. It was a man and he seemed very concerned about the turmoil there, beyond trying to find more ways to "improve" the company, he probably figured it was a lost cause and they would just hatchet him if he didn't leave.

Sounds like wave 2 is coming very shortly they have to unload some salaries real soon.
 















Bye law, they have to pay out vacation time

They violated everyone when they refused to pay vacation time, give notice, expenses, mileage... I spoke with a recruiter recently that explained that EVERYONE in the industry has the conclusion that PG is THE worst! The word is out! Recruiters are telling everyone they can to avoid PG and asking people to spread the word. I think PG has failed to realize how tight the healthcare industry is and people have no problem spreading the word about company that clearly take advantage of people with a bait and dump approach. Hey new 4? If you are reading this... do you have that sick to your stomach feel? You should! The end is near...

Because they are a California base company and California is an "at will" state, that is not true. Remember you signed an at will clause that you can leave any time and the company can let you go at any time.
9 weeks is not enough to accumulate any type of leave, vacations, etc., but on the expenses they are required to pay that back. Anyone not paid expenses should go to the DOL (Department of Labor) they will get all your pay that is due to you.
Pathway Genetics is their own worst enemy, they screwed their employees and now they have just sealed their future in the healthcare industry.
They will never become an IPO, the labor board should open a case on them. With all of the other lawsuits and issues about to happen they probably have their legal counsel on speed dial.
At this point they either should go 1099 or sell the company (whats left of it)

I heard they have cut back on catered lunches at the home office that it will be Friday only.

I have never heard of them.
Lot's of companies cut back on catered lunches. Obama is the president.

Thanks you made my day, brought a smile on my face with another full day of hunting for a job after my job was taken for no reason.

That website is very appropriate for Pathway, It was entertaining lots of smut on people to be wary of.
 






Sometimes these boards are an indication of the end and other times they are just course corrections. I don't see anything in this thread that they are closing up shop. I did hear that they were having trouble with getting the new sequencer online but I'm sure they are through that issue by now. This looks more like inexperience by upper management. Specifically, it looks like somebody sold somebody on a grand concept without due diligence.
