I agree. It is so intrusive to be forced to be on video. I can feel my creepy manager undressing me with his eyes the whole time and it makes me very uncomfortable.

it is unconscionable that the company would force this added stress on us during an already emotional and difficult time for families.

I do not need drama. And that is precisely why my post was short. It is true but unfortunately, this is something that most women deal with ( including myself) on daily basis.

In most instances there is 8-10 people on these zoom calls. Just stop snowflake.

You’re missing the point. There’s no need for daily Zoom calls. Conference calls would be just as effective for 90% of these conversations. FORCING us to turn on our cameras feels intrusive and creepy. I get if there is a new piece of material to share or whatever, but when all my RD wants to talk about is the weather or their latest inspirational quote, why do I have to be on camera for that?
