Whoa! That was good. After running the furnace all winter (hell it got as low as 42 here one night) my acoustics all need the be rehydrated and have the necks adjusted so - as soon as that happens, I'm woikin' on this one. Right now I'm also jammin' on harmonica and if (nervous I confess) I get my chops back by the 28th, I'll get to jam in a club with one of Fuckie's faves outta Nick 6s gang.
I can pull it off in my bedroom but the stage fright is setting in already. And if I have a lot to drink, I won't be scared but I'll sound like shit.

If it happens though, you and Libs will be the first to get the link. :cool:

One of my majors in college was performance (no not that kind) -- anyway, the way I would get over any stage fright was to imagine myself in my own living room and simply walking to the baby grand and start playing. I never even thought about the folks out in the audience, except one time -- I heard some kid say "Wow Mommy, her hands are really flying all over the keyboard!" That damned kid! My concentration was lost at that point, but I did finish.

Do NOT make eye contact with anybody in the audience. With any luck, there will be a spotlight of some kind, and you won't be able to see the audience.

On the flip side, they'll probably all be either drunk or stoned, and they'll think you're the next best thing since grits.

What's interesting is that the RP who started the thread, recently posted the same thing - he didn't understand why people kept posting about this thread and even quoted you when he replied about one of my posts but NOW, here he is again, posting about this issue. I get the distinct idea he doesn't mind the posts on his thread, as long as they agree completely with him. Funny when people want to close out any other ideas but theirs.

All I did was come back after 3 days of crappy fishing and post a Zimmy update. You came after me so I responded. Then I went outside and shot my pistol in the air to let everyone know who's boss.
