I believe the shake up is good and think that house cleaning was necessary, but its what you accomplish after the house cleaning that will be key; give NF another 6 months to see if there is a turnaround in business and morale. so I'm sitting on the fence right now on JW vs. NF. but my days at ZC are definitely numbered; had interviews with other prominent device companies in the area and a couple of offers; leaving on my terms. feel sorry for DW and SS who came from Warsaw; should have stayed in Warsaw rather than come into this type of environment, unfortunately. good luck to them.

Slow day at the office, nothing better to do, net nanny blocked your porn sites? You must have personal issues with one or more of these managers because no else gives a damn about them. Get a hobby or buy a cat, your personal problems are so uninteresting. Zimmer is growing, taking market share and easily handing syk, jnj their asses. Big bonuses for us in early 2012!

It is true that Jamie tried to create a family environment; however, those that were true to that worked their butt off for Jamie. those that took advantage of that and abused their privileges and leeway for their own gains, have caused the downfall of the company (you guys know who you are; as were indicated in many posts above). some still there trying to play games and smooze their way up the ladder. it will all come crashing down when people figure out you don't belong in your position and are not qualified; by then you have created a crappy name for yourself in the industry you are sol for any future moves.

For the record though, I was in sales with Zimmer while Dave was Director of Sales. Pathological liar...just ask him about his golf game!

Great post, exactly right, no one cares. Speaking of Jamie Williams, is he still working at Zimmer Canada? Useless GM from what people say so probably no big loss....

To celebrate his return to the corner office Jamie has instituted a new leadership directive.....free tap water for all ZIM Canada employees! Customer focus will be secondary to important business initiatives, there is even talk of a brand new can opener for the kitchen? Dare we breathe in case it doesn't come true....

Good question, no one can figure it out. As a general manager he was pathetic, he couldn't make a single decision without complete agreement of his managers. When times got tough at Zimmer he cried in board meetings, true story. Good thing tissue boy Chrysanthou was there to lend a hand

Just my opinion but Jamie's down to earth, good family guy from Barrie, Ontario routine was sad and pathetic. I watched him piss his pants and cry at the boardroom table...nothing says leadership and grit like a fifty year old pussy sobbing like a child. Oh well, I remember it being a nice break to look at my BB and get caught up on email.

It is a complete disgrace that JW is still employed at Zim Canada. He's Nathan's chosen lap dog so he will be there for awhile. Zimmer is successful in spite of this ridiculous management team in Mississauga. For fun, disagree with JW in the next meeting and see if he will burst into tears?
