ZB Kentucky

Have not heard one good thing about ZB Kentucky since the merge took place. Poor leadership, bad decisions and greed run that place.

You know... they make us user our own cell phones for work and won’t even let us expense our cell phone bills. Whenever things are going on outside of our 40hrs work week they will tell us it’s optional so they don’t have to pay OT and then either guilt us into going or if we don’t they make us feel so bad and make comments about how it’s just proof we don’t want to be part of the team.
For the longest time they didn’t even pay us OT when we worked over 40hr weeks. Now they throw a leader title on you and a couple people under you so they can work you how ever much they want without having to pay you over time.
Anything to work around the system to their benefit.

I’m looking forward to a corporate take over. At least I’ll have decent vacation time and insurance. I’ll get the week back of vacation they took away from me at merger.

And telling us not to use our phones or text while we are driving but if we don’t respond quick enough we get scolded.
They say what they are “supposed” to but don’t mean it all. You are to do what you think they want. Not what they tell you they expect.
 
















Everyone who would have been a good loyal employee has either been fired or quit.

My favorite with them is how whenever someone quits they turn it around on that person. Like either they fired them that they didn’t quit or how they didn’t need them anyways or it was only a matter of time before they were let go if they wouldn’t have quit.
We’ve literally watched them try to run people out and when it finally happens they turn it all back on that person.

They tell everyone they want to grow them make them better leaders watch them move on and then when they do these people get hit with c&d and nc’s. It’s almost like the dangle a treat in front of them to see if they will take it and when they do they start washing their hands of them. They want everyone under their thumb or gone. There is no in between with these two. I miss the old days when we were left to do our work and we weren’t being watched all the time.

When they start to put their thumbs down on you is when TE has all of your emails forwarded to her so she can read everyone and make sure you’re in line. The moment you’re not she tells JS and MO and that’s usually the end of you.

If corporate has half a brain they will replace MO and JS with someone who’s worth a damn and maybe cares more about just making money for themselves.

How many contracts have they lost? How many reps have left creating significant impact to their organization? How many reps have been fired causing negative impact to their organization? How many employees have been fired hurting their reputation even further in the industry?How much legal emphasis are they currently litigating as a result? And how much is Zimmer Biomet corporate truly aware of????

Oh here operations team. Here is $10k to do with whatever you want for being the number one operations team of the year (couple hundred dollars each... before taxes). Oh wait... never mind. You weren’t number one because we can’t reach positive sales. And because we couldn’t reach positive sales you lose 50% of your bonus even though we’ve pushed you to your limits to get your job done and made it harder and harder on you as people have left or been fired and we haven’t replaced them or we’ve replaced them with people from outside the industry who don’t know what they are doing. Be prepared for negative sales again in 2019 ... and another year of 50% of your bonus... MAYBE. Don’t question it unless you want to be labeled unapperciative and greedy.
 




I’m a competitor in the area-Joey calls myself and my coworkers asking us if we want a job every few months... or asking us to hear him out on his next best business idea. When is the last time Joey made a competitive hire that converted any business? That should tell a story. Coupled with the decisions that have been made this past year...we are laughing at your decisions and wondering-what are you thinking? Even Joey going around saying how wrong the decisions are that have been made, saying he will risk his job to bring back those that have been fired. I hope Corporate does nothing. ZB has a great bag and they could be a great company, but I don’t view them as competition any more. Wouldn’t be surprised if they walked out or gave Corporate an ultimatum. That has always been the plan from the beginning.
 




Let me get this right. A ZB rep is fired for "allegedly" selling another company's products, yet it is kosher for a competitor's rep-who by the way use to work for ZB to cover the ZB reps' cases when unable to. All this done to keep an extremely productive surgeon happy.
Sounds like anything goes as long as money is made! No wonder health care is so expensive and corrupt! Just like the phamaceutical companies-money is the name of the game and the public and loyal, competent employees get the shaft!!
