You Can’t Do Anything Right


You haven’t looked too hard if you haven’t noticed KR mentioned all over this site in the last 18-24 months. My fav out of touch move of his was to par down ABDs to get rid of BA, then turn right back around and hire a 3rd.
I meant posts that speak to him or any leader (outside of Jen) putting the team last or belittling them like the current regime. He wasn’t perfect but everyone felt like they mattered and that he had their backs.

Hopefully this group gets a hint and makes some needed adjustments.
 








Friendly reminder to everyone that leadership still hasn’t acknowledged a damn thing we’ve been saying for the last six months. They’ve completely ignored the fact that the quotas are impossible to hit, the compensation plan changes are a mess, they’ve made their best people feel like shit, and they’ve left us with zero tools to actually grow the business. ZB did however take time to acknowledge that his pet snake is on a well deserved vacation.

Love how leadership doesn’t put anything into morale yet they all preach the importance of Gallup. Better employee morale = better engagement which is a direct link to productivity and success. Makes very little sense. Which has become a theme on these posts.

I agree with all on Jake. He is terrible. Jake the SNAKE lets guys who owe $100k plus in commissions just quit and walk away but holds the sales force in the trenches, who are all the reason he has a job, accountable for paying back punitive damages….while we are fighting our asses off with no base salary. It’s infuriating to think we were instructed by all of leadership to get these orders in so they hit their bonuses.

Any of you who have stayed here through all of this garbage have some serious moral and ethical issues. I think it’s because you know you’d be EATEN alive in a company with real values. Keep lying to customers and being greedy, idiots.

Have an opportunity to interview for the imaging division. From the sounds of it, it’s the place to be in Hologic? The first year earnings mentioned were very attractive $260-275 at plan with a lot of tenured reps consistently over 300. Is this realistic and how is this division to work for?

Moral and integrity starts at the top. Even if leadership fixes the issues with the comp plan, the toxic culture has made it throughout all areas of BSH. Which includes the service team. Service is the other part of the equation that have similar concerns with leadership. This is not the fault of the hardworking people that take their direction from toxic leadership, but we get the blame. A more comprehensive leadership purge is needed.

And then go into the idea that you’re selling something to treat a patient who has cancer, all the while your RSMs and Stryker rejects are also cancer. There’s absolutely no way a HOLX rep can have the best interest of the patient or hospital in mind when working under that type of “leadership”. Grow a pair, get some confidence, and get a real job and actually do something to help.

If you think about coming here after reading all of these posts you have zero self respect for yourself. Leadership only selected RSMs they were confident in their ability to control. Bottom line. The entire sales force is looking for new roles externally. This is a plane on fire with no landing gear nor water in the fire trucks waiting on the runway.

To the Hologic people on here- I heard HR is reviewing these posts now. How haven’t they jumped in yet and set up a discussion with sales reps and leadership? Don’t they promote the importance of the Gallup, welcoming feedback, etc? Or is HR just a leadership HR department and pretending we don’t exist?
 








Now that you’ve stayed in this role through all of this, it’s going to be much more difficult to get hired elsewhere. The whole med device world knows how things are at Hologic, from the lawsuits, the many reps who have left and spilled the beans, and from customers who sense how desperate reps are. That’s probably for the best, you were losers at Stryker, and are losers at Hologic.
