Xolair

You are for sure the right fit for this job..lol. Keep drinking that Kool-Aid.

Kool-Aid? Not quite, I just bought myself a year to work with 2 companies in biotech which means I can work my ass off, network my ass off and get to a better, more stable, position to finish out my career. You're too lazy for that, continue your ignorant pod monkey strategy and let the grown ups deal with this contract.

I like your thinking. We won't know who each other is at our upcoming training and launch meetings, but know that there is at least one other person with you on this contract who shares your ideals. I expect that most of those chosen on this project will be of the same mindset.

The manager who hired me gets it too, I've also talked to one of the specialty reps I'm overlapping with and had a great discussion with him. So far there seem to be a lot of grown ups here and it looks like we'll be treated like adults at the meeting in DC, still very early but this could be very good for us.

Its all good in the beginning..lol.

Novartis...biotech, not quite. You should run far away from them as you can

You know Sparky you sure spend a lot of time bashing a job and med that you obviously know very little about. And by the way Sparky, NO offers were turned down for one of these positions-you are a liar.

I know alot more about this than than you think Sparky...for one thing there is more than 1 person posting truth about this position.
You may think this is a good opportunity if you desperately need a job or think you are getting into some high tech sales. Calling on PCP's to sell a drug like this is running around chasing your tail. I know alot both about the drug and companies and granted you can learn some new skill sets but with the size of these territories and the money that was offered, it won't be a walk in the park. So good luck to you and hope it turns out to be what you think it will be. I for one walked away because i know first hand what it will be like.

Where is it written anyone is expecting a "walk in the park"? I said work hard, network hard and get paid for a year, why is that so difficult for you and your lazy "I deserve at least $80k a year to drop samples and hit call metrics while working part time" pod drones to figure out? I don't have a problem looking at a unique situation and trying to build something positive out of it, you can't even get to a glass-is-half-full mentality, you're so negative and lazy the glass is always just a pile of shit to you.

Temper temper now...hit a nerve or what!

Well mid 60's for this job is not good

You know sparky, you sure are spending a lot of time and energy trying to convince people how terrible this contract is. Are you hoping someone reads your posts and backs out at the last minute and you get a call?

No not at all, I have a great job on another contract and love it. Just trying to let people know the facts as they really are. There are so many inaccuracies that are portrayed with any opportunity, people should know the good and the bad. Good luck to you and I hope it is all you think it will be

Ah, you are a martyr of sorts. Please tell us of the "inaccuracies" that have been "portrayed" in this opportunity.

So what do all think about selling Xolair now?

It's been excellent. We have solid reps, my manager is the most realistic and helpful I've had in years, Deb is our greatest advocate, the clients are happy and the specialty reps I work with are great. I'm networking like a dog and the future looks great! It's not easy but we have complete autonomy in the territory, the lack of samples and metrics is awesome.
