The FRM position when first established was very well received. These were all in the area of BioOncology and due to the buy and bill model, was justified. With all of the positive rection to the BioOnc FRM's, other franchises wanted them too. There is a reason for a Xolair FRM position to exist but the people they put there are worthless. Since the drug has been on the market for 8-9 years, there is no longer any need for Xolair FRMs. The establishment of FRMs for the Endocrine franchise was a joke from the start.

Genentech has looked at outsourcing these positions with companies like Lash. Great reduction in cost to Genentech with no loss of support from very well respeced company. The days when Art wanted everything to remain in house in SFO are way over. Get used to it

Are you surprised. The horrible management of Xolair began when Nancy Oaks was put in place. Since then it has been horrible. But then again this is the Genentech way!!
