COMPLETELY AGREE! How did Lisa Hickey get her job. She doesn’t have a leadership bone in her body. She doesn’t listen, plus she’s mean & spiteful! Add to it that couldn’t sell Soliris if her life depended on it and you have an ineffective “leader”. Sad.
 



That’s rude. Let’s keep to effectiveness and such. How have those faux leaders in Dublin survived this long? Wait til the numbers and nonsense are uncovered. There is a reason SD only promotes the Irish and keep a small ineffective circle. Hires an occasional female but doesn’t let them do anything meaningful but be ready to take the fall when it comes. Layers
 



SD needs to go. He is the worst leader I have ever seen. I bet he knows it too. Probably can't believe his luck that he has got away with it for this long. MT should be next. Both pretenders, weak and will change with the wind.

Hey AOLT how are things working out? Getting enough surprises from ghosts of the past-like SR? It’s what happens when you don’t even know what is really going or the people you think you lead and rely on the inexperience of your inner circle or that poor soul that is your lonely HR support -you get played by those you think you are helping or protecting-LOL. Rumor has it-more to come. Keep up that winning leadership style-it suits you.

I don’t think he has balls of steel….more like ignorance is bliss

about Michael Teehan, He is as bad if not worse…he keeps those within his organization down to keep himself and SD up. He is the puppet. Someone need to look at turn over and talented people that left.

It’s one thing to be ambitious and grab more…it’s another when you then won’t reward or even acknowledge the people below you that keep you in that spot! Flying below the radar and not advancing your team is not the job of VP anywhere. Aggressive meritocracy; MT is not a leader and I warn anyone that considers hiring him in the future.

The VP and his subjects don’t know how to lead. They are only trying to survive and the more distance between the power and the people that get it done-the longer they survive. Look at the new add ons-ridiculous bunch of naive followers. We should be concerned about how this will impact patients and the business. No leader at AZ cares about being likes or respected for their skill. They aren’t any better than SD and a lot like MT-middle of the road no opinion -no real knowledge and no b-lls.

The evidence has always been there that these are the worst two in the entire organisation, but when does anyone take any notice. Our CEO or at least HR should be asking these questions, there are enough of us willing to speak up about them if given the chance.

So glad to see this thread and acknowledgement of the truth, but it sad because good talented people will have to leave the oppressive global ops regime to advance their careers. Alexion is a good company that lives their values and will suffer in the long run. Many execs and VP are leaving in a few months so all of this will fall on deaf ears! If you are complacent, stay. If you want more for yourself, look elsewhere in Alexion, AZ, or outside the company.

Those two lads are acting the maggot and someone really should look deeper.
 



HR to look into it? That would require the lad to remove his head from their arse so he can see and hear. Anyone that poses even the slightest threat to these leaders is quickly muffled and moved out. No one good or strong will get far while they are in place. But let’s face it-AZ will like it this way. Birds of a feather. Still laughing about HR helping out-so gullible-poor guy.
