You won't have to wait much longer. This company has its salesforce so entwined in conference calls and meetings that they have forgotten the basics…BE IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMER AS MUCH AS YOU CAN! We spend almost a full week per month out of the field on conference calls, meetings and other nonsense. Novo is destined to fail.

I was in the office watching this guy, no joke, orange polo, he looked like a pumpkin. Worst part is that a patient literally had to ask him to move so she could hand in her paperwork. You guys really need to get a clue.

NN use to hire seasoned, classy and experienced sales reps. Now they hire ex cheerleaders and football coaches, just like Pfizer and all the other big boys.
Lilly is going to eat our lunch with their well trained and experienced sales force.

You watch. NN is asleep at the wheel and has gotten too big for it's own good. Lilly will gain back the biz.

It wasn't until we quite hiring that mold that we really started moving business to the tune of $3.5 billion that we do today. You may not like the model, but it works.

As for Lilly, they are a dumpster fire. They are irrelevant. When the best you can do is co-promote a product that someone else makes and/or get into the generic market, you are meaningless.

Haaahh hah! The recession started turning around right about the time we started hiring Barbie and Kens, so I can see the direct correlation with that, too.

The recession? I didn't realize a poor economy resulted in less diabetes. Thanks for the great info.

And, yes, our hiring changed and our market shares drastically increased...not sure how the recession affected that either. But, hey, you're the economist here.
 




Your market share increased due to More feet on the ground and more products. Don't try to claim that hiring bimbos and dumbos made your company where it is today.

Once upon a time there were only 25 reps in this company who did 10 times the amount of work that you people do. They paved the way, got our Insulins into wholesalers, hospitals, payers, retailers and met with the KOL's.

Levemir was on the market for over a year and had a massive market share of .4% before Novo decided to expand and bring real sales people aboard. Yes the market and industry have changed, and maybe we have made some mistakes with getting too big--but let's not act that the people we brought on board haven't contributed a great deal to the success we have all enjoyed over the past several years.

Everyone contributed to the success at Novo Nordisk. And as I recall, the first wave of sales people were, "real sales people".
