Worst Amgen DM ever?

You guys just hired one from Michigan. She had so many HR issues who in their right mind would hire this self proclamed cool chick?
Guys will do better with her because she is unashamed of her preference for them over women.

Something seems off with her if it's who I think you're talking about. Real cheerleader primary care type...won't last long here though it seems like she has moved around a lot.

Anybody talking about cleaning their fishbowl to sales should not be in management! Go back and live in your fish tank. You are clearly not ready for the dangers of living in the real world.

This job is focused on PC. Novartis is running the show. We are the Specialty reps with the connections. Why do you think, for the most part, Amgen is not hiring specialty reps with connections? They want order takers. I referred top candidates who I know can sell and are connected. Out of the eleven, only one was hired. She was shocked that Amgen does not pay wellI for a specialty rep position and of the lack of experience of the "managers".

In my area, I will have to babysit the Amgen rep and make sure they do not screw things up. Off-label or product discussions before the drug is launched is of concern. The woman they hired out here is an idiot. And no, she's not from MI. Try further East.

Still doubting? Notice that the territory maps we gave Amgen have Novartis on the bottom, not Amgen. Amgen has rights to sell Eren in the US, but has a history of failed launches. Novartis has 60 years of Neuro experience, along with successful launches. Your CEO and management cannot afford another screw up, so that's why Novartis is in charge.

If you read the posts on this thread, a lot of people are saying the same thing: Bad company, poor managers, poor communication and a disregard for candidates. Still doubting? Look at the other threads and high turnover.

Smart person here that can read between the lines and not the Amgen koolaid.

Since the question has been asked with the word ever I would have to say Trish Delowery. She was totally ineffective, her team hated her and she had no friends in management as well. she was devoid of all and any femininity and almost seemed like she enjoyed being a complete b****! If she died tomorrow the only reason any employees from Amgen would go to her funeral is to make sure she went into the ground!

You seriously are kidding me? I don't even believe what you posted. Amgen will drive this bus. Novartis reps are only worried about Gilenya. They refuse, in many areas, to call on primary care. I will call my person out. SHE WILL call on FP's and pain. This is the worst partnership ever with their arrogance.

Women beware...if she didn’t hire you personally, she will attempt to treat you like shit and make you want to quit.

Document document document. She will do and say things—total HR trainwreck.
