I seem to be reading a post about a lot of women who took advantage of what a few unfortunate employees went through. Good Job!!!! Hope you can sleep at night after taking advantage of this. I work with a lot of people who got all this extra money and was there counterpart for years. They went through nothing more then what the guys go through. Lost a lot of respect for a lot of you.
What are you talking about? What fairy land do you live in? This company is horrible and we ALL deserve the money. "A FEW"... hey, go to college and take statistics. You will figure out the behavior in this company was statistically significant which inteprets to more than a trend. Just get real and realize you work for a stagnant company who lived in the 1950's.

This thread is titled "Women: Honest Payout Info Here".... Women and Honest Payout, what an absolute conflict of terms. There is NOTHING HONEST about this payout to ALL women. It is purely an over-reaching court settlement to go along with this sue-happy society. Hopefully you ALL realize that most parasites eventually end-up killing their host.... THANKS

Yes, you are right about parasites. The DM and ASM who fired, neglected promotions and pay have affected the host. The host is Novartis and the US Justice system P R E V A I L E D !

I am glad that you agree that these sue-happy women are parasites with no standing. They ONLY benefit because they live in a society that is hell-bent on appeasing malcontents.... but in the long-run we ALL lose. THANKS
No, what I agree with is the DM and ASM's who live in the 1950's and supress women are the parasites who destroy this company. We are living in 2011 and deserve every penny were awarded.
However, I do agree in the long run WE ALL LOSE when this behavior is present. Maybe they will change now and you can be an agent of change when you decide to turn people in who discriminate. Please do not turn the other cheek; this is the reason the award was issued in the first place.
As a male who did not qualify for compensation, I still do not understand the mama's boys who complain because of what the women affected by the lawsuit earned. For God's sake, it does not affect me or you, just am glad someone was able to capitalize on this corrupt, impotent company.

We don't ALL have to lose.... it is ONLY because this over-reaching decision that we ALL have to lose. If there are problems that exist, then correct them..... don't hand-out large sums of money to people just because they have a vagina. That makes NO sense.
There is a fixed dollar amount for each month worked and the basic settlement was that amount multiplied by the number of months you were employed at Novartis during the time frame the lawsuit covered. So, unless most of the posters here applied for and got extra damages, the figure are all lies. I worked there six of eight years of the time period and got about $16,000 before taxes.
There was a variant for position at the time also--some received more than the amount/year reported--there was a minimal dollar amount, more for certain levels and more if there was any report of personal damage. Of course the most went to individuals with proven damages

Remember that letter you received from the law firm practically begging you to apply for extra/ That is because all the money not claimed went back to Novartis.
