Why is the Director of Training position open?

I am poster #15 and thank all of you for that. I turned around training where I am...SAME darn thing. It was not viewed as important and it truly is very critical.

I don't need to leave my company but I do look for challenges and better opportunities. I have heard all negative things about Eisai and it is sad. Thanks for the feedback.

BTW - does anyone know what the salary is for this position?

Yeah, suuuuuure you did...........lol

Thanks to the Field Trainers, the Marketing Dept., and Med Ed., it appears any Product question from New Hires get facilitated back to the other New Hires, Field Trainers, Marketing or Med Ed. Has anyone ever seen the one Onc Trainer that has been there very long answer multiple Onc Product questions without referring you to someone else if you try too?

That is pretty sad. This is about accountability and leadership. My expectation is that my trainers know it all but I also give them the tools to know what they need to.

At Eisai, the trainers are told what to say, when to say it and how to do it. No creativity required. And if that method doesn't work, it's the trainers' fault. Biggest mistake of my life.

Good question.

Too bad it is that way. Should not be. Poor leadership in training then.
Is the Director position filled yet or close to be?
Pay range?

Yes. Poor leadership.

The previous director was a military leader. She was a Dessert Storm Vet. Lead many men into battle. Did not survive OB.

Pay range is $175-$200k. Position is still opened. OB wants military leaders. Do you know any.

She has two Bronz Stars, Army of Conduct Medal, and a Purple Heart. She also has an MBA from Rutgers and 15 years of sales leadership experience. How is this company going to replace her?

Who wrote her resume? John "3 purple hearts" Kerry or Obama?

You do not have the right to pass judgment on a war veteran. You cannot imagine the challenges a soldier goes through in battle and the difficulties a soldier has returning to civilian life. Don't mock our "purple hearts or bronze stars". In time of war, who will stand and defend your family and this country ... You? People like her will bleed for your freedom and your right, right to speak ill again her. You do not have praise her. Just say thank you and move on.
