Why is Amgen IC so bad?

IBU IC is terrible. The IC guy is unable to answer any of the questions we have for it. He himself needs to do extensive research and I don't think he knows what is happening. He is the reason why everyone is leaving IBU. Messy and sloppy IC team.
 




The IBU is a joke! IC team consist of one guy who doesn’t know what the hell he is doing. Numbers are constantly screwed up. Baselines aren’t taken out. Accredo is a joke! Nobody knows if we are getting credit or not. Specialty pharmacy is a huge mess. Everyone is looking for a job. AMGEN doesn’t care. As long as they continue to get paid they don’t care about taking care of their reps. Nobody is making decent money. Very few territories even get to 100%

Said very well put together. I agree. IBU really got shafted with the IC guy. I hope the new sales excellence guy can whip all the IC people into shape. IBU is always wrong and an embarrassment. Amgen SOS. We wee drowning in incompetence. New IC guy thinks he can make a difference. His fake optimism is just pure dumb. This is not adult daycare like being a sales manager
 




We have unresolved issues with IBU IC since last year and no one has been able to give us answers. The only stupid thing they do is remove baselines but doesn’t solve core issues. I thought I may have been the only one. After seeing your comments I feel the same sentiment. The IBU guy is a lost puppy and doesn’t know what he is doing. My regional business director said he can’t get answers from him and said he doesn’t think he knows what he is doing sadly. Is home office people all incompetent and only get jobs knowing someone?

not just IBU, it’s all of them. Amgen doesn’t want to pay for full data sets to pay their reps more in IC! Their logic is, we can save money by not buying additional data & the reps won’t know the difference.

As long as JD is there, the rep is screwed. She hates reps with a passion and works against them. Should have stayed at Kinkos.

True, but MN is a least smart enough to realize when they have screwed up the numbers, JD just doesn't care. She just deflects and redirects hatred toward the field.

Cliff -please save us. We just want honesty and transparency. Now that Grady is gone, you have a chance to do the right thing.
 




The problem is attitude. The attitude is that reps are lucky to get any bonus. Reps should be lucky we acquire about 60% of the data to begin with. Reps are so simple minded that they can never understand our data feeds. We hate reps. Our base case whenever there is a data hiccup is, " well the rep is selling less."

Get used to it. We always win.
