why does this company even have its own board?

This is still and always has been about reimbursement. Solve reimbursement, solve sales. Nothing else matters. There are no strategies to rely on in Sales that will change the situation. EGS is above the payer radar, as is crural closure. You are naive if you believe otherwise.

Too many people messed up EGS when most of you were still struggling at your last jobs. You probably mean well but it's too late (policies, pricing, studies, marketing). Time to stop being so optimistic and get on the monster board. CM is leaving for a reason. You actually don't think he would stir the pot and tell you do you? Ask MK how many shares have been given out and you will see where the future is for you

Come on man! EGS has a future. EGS has money from investors. EGS has the unique ability to reshape its future today. The Key will be in leadership. Selecting the next VP of Sales will be critical. The next VP should be able to articulate a vision for the device that is both clinically sound and provide a clear pathway toward reimbursement. The last 2 VPs were ignorant to the complexity of the procedure and how to position EGS within the surgical community.

DS needs to go! They also need to do some house cleaning in Redmond starting with the Quality group which is made up of a series of unmotivated, less-than-energetic, dim wits...Sure they have experience, if by experience you mean they've been around forever, but that just translates into an inflated salary. These guys wouldn't know quality if it stared them in the face. The only decent guy of the bunch is JB, but he hired most of the half wits and has done nothing to get them in line or out the door. What a joke!

This company is the Pitts, everything written here is absolutely true! I will tell you that TT and DS dont have many friends here, and its because of their own actions! I hate to wish bad on anyone, but those are two people that I hope fail for the rest of their careers!

I hear they already hate TT at his new company, where he is trying to take over, and all he runs is marketing. He was reduced to a DS!!

Wow! This is funny! Yah, our CEO just fired him too!
Bon voyage MF!

When does the money run out? The current business plan is to gain reimbursement of a NOS procedure through validation of the procedure with only 1 double blinded study. It's naive believe that CMS and the AMA will help EGS gain positive reimbursement for a procedure that has not even been validated by Academic Reflux thought leaders. The AMA and CMS is fighting for larger reimbursement issues in this new "healthcare reform" age.

Anyone out there getting higher reimbursement or seeing an easier pathway for reimbursement using the unlisted code? Good luck EGS Mgmt.....

CMS has nothing to do with EGS getting a CPT code. This is through the AMA process which is shepherded by a relevant society. The fact is that gaining a Category I CPT code requires more that what this sinking ship is able to deliver. It more likely will get a Category III code which is defined as experimental for one year until a Cat I is issued. That will be the kiss of death for this stinking POS.
