Why are we wasting time on Bystolic?

uh-oh. I just got home from having a stress test and my heart rate went to over 250 in under 6 minutes. Needless to say, my BP is kind of high (170/115) before I started. I just kind of chalked it up to being "anxious" since I had never done a stress test before.

My doc literally gave me a detail on this product. And then he gave me 12 weeks worth. (I sell to Pediatricians, so I know how the process works, and have given his granddaughter allergy medicine for the past 2 years).

Is this any good? I'm hoping to lower my heart rate, bp, improve circulation (left leg has poor circulation) with this drug.

Yes or No, and why.

Thanks.

ooops I meant 150. As for getting samples....did you miss the part where I'd given 2 years worth to his granddaughter? I'm sure the Forest Rep in this area has gotten his share of free samples over the years. It's called professional courtesy.

We could be spending more time ( and money) selling Namenda which by far is the best drug for Alzheimer's Disease.

Bystolic------20 years to late. Decent drug, little use for it.

Re: Namenda-crap tools where do they get this stuff, who comes up with some of the latest garbage. They buy crap from any vendor who walks through the door. Crap PM's-anyone who had any idea how to market-gone elsewhere.

Forest is a company run by sales and marketing management who are clueless. They are the worst in the business.

5mg QD????? Double digit reductions?????? Not a chance. Try 20-40mg...as add-on therapy.

Oh, and ask Mrs. Jones to add another $720 to her annual medication bills of...on the conservative side...$2500 a year. Or better yet, why don't you just give up the money for her?

Why do docs use a drug? It needs to work. A "clean side-effect profile" does not cut it.

You have just lost your way in sales. Sales is simple if you follow the plan the company sets up for you. You obviously are not following it and you are upset because you are not seeing the numbers you want to see.

The company spends a lot of money coming up with our POA, and we should believe in it.

And, yes, you can also email me if you want to talk about working on getting back to your basic selling skills. I am more than willing to help you, as you really seem to need the help.

you can't be serious? you are pretty new, aren't you?

My doc told me to cut the 5mg bystolic pill in half. Since it's not scored, can I? Will that mess up the effacacy?

I was feeling lethargic and having headaches being on it for a few weeks.

thanks.

Will not keep you alive from a Cardiac event!! Our own studies failed to show mortality benefits.

Being in sales for the last forty years, I really had to laugh at you "newbies" to the sales/marketing market. If the makers of this drug, Bystolic, are so big in sales/marketing, they sound like they havn't done a great job on "training" you on this great drug......well, I don't know how great, however, I have been on another beta blocker for two years, gained 40 pounds, been dieting, wondering what the hell, then a new cardio doc introduced me to the new Bystolic beta and guess what? I have more energy and am losing weight...okay, arguments, placebo? I think not!...peeing a lot, I think so...but at least something is moving! lol....it has given me hope instead of poor circulation and wavering b/ps....so why not get some more education from the company you are representing and use some POSITIVE attitude towards your products????? You can only sell what you get excited about....get excited, it's a great product for me, I'm living proof, go tell that story for your sales pitch!....I love it!

Our meds do work and work well. Bystolic is a pretty amazing med. I have HT and I asked my doc to give me BY and sure enough, i went from 150/100 to 124/82 within a 2-3 week period. This is first line with no other med's assisting. No doubt it's the best beta blocker out! No doubt our DM's are the biggest bunch of wanna be assholes to roam the earth. I know the DM's in my division act like the mini gestapo. Love how these fuckers always have to pull each otherr aside and whisper shit to each other in front of you and seem to go out of their way to look at you or others when doing so. It will all come back to bite these fuckers right in the ass. Go Bystolic, Die DM's! you kool aod drinkin, micro managing, hate spending time with you wife and kids fuckwads!!!!!!

Hi guys...!!
i read some of the comments ..in this forum...it's amusing...
as a Cardiologist in pvt practice, I can personally vouch for the effectiveness and tolerability of Bystolic in comparison to several other b-blockers that I've used in my practice;
Bystolic 'works' really well..!I'm fortunate to have an excellent group of Reps. who stop by my office several times/month; In my opinion Bystolic is a clear 'winner'...!!

thanks how much did you payed to spill that crap line?

The post by the rep with experience is right on. For those of you who don't believe in Bystolic, you are not only wrong, you're idiots. If you can't believe in the merits of the drugs you rep, you will never do well over time. Unfortunately, isn't taught in training, it has to come from within.
No, Bystolic doesn't work for everyone, but nothing does. Do you know that there are published studies you can read that will help you idiots learn about medications and disease states? Do yourself a favor, spend a couple of hours LEARNING about the meds you rep, the disease states, and the evidence that supports it.
Seriously, what qualifies you to make these statements? Evidence supports that Bystolic is a drug worthy of consideration and a great choice for a lot of patients. There is NOTHING else on the market that does what Bystolic does.
