Who from BioMet stays?


Biomet's HR is so corrupt. They lie for and protect the sales people that are the company favorite's but not the ethical employees. They turn a blind eye to strip club visits being expensed and harassment complaints. They will first ask management which employee should stay and which should go? Then they change the facts to protect the guilty if that'
s what management wants. Everyone knows someone that was burned going years back. Old news but worth repeating. What will happen to HR after the deal is completed? Zimmer people only?

They're a token dept in any company! They don't drive sales, manufacture product or R&D. What do they really do, anyway? Has anyone from Z reviewed with you the Gallup survey you took this past year and shared what meaningful changes the company made as a result of your feedback. Rumor was their results were so piss poor, they couldn't stand letting that get out. Guess the change they made was to buy someone else's HR dept.
 



Yea, I hear 67 has lost credibility within Z and his own organization over the family thing. It's probably contributed to some of their turnover. He'd like to create a succession plan for his kids, but that will never happen with this integration. SK is a good guy and hope he doesn't get hurt through this change. Will be interesting to watch how the dust settles in "CAROLINA".

So any wild speculation on how this thing plays out in SC?

Once the integration occurs, 1QTR15, it will be interesting to see how long DD stays on with the company. He's been with Z 10 years and its not uncommon for CEO's to transition out after completing this type of deal. Jim Crines, CFO, announced his retirement at the close. Just wonder if DD will be far behind? We all are used to having new bosses plop in and out of our worlds. I've had 11 different corporate bosses during my time with this company. The company will move on regardless of whose in charge. It hasn't been fun, recently, with the current leadership of either company. Looking back, there have been some great leaders who made this a fun, great place to work and who made significant positive contributions to our company and town. Hopefully, we can find that type of leader once again, when DD is gone. Our NEW company needs a leader that people can rally around, pull things together, break down dysfunctional cultural barriers, create trust, provide inspirational vision and leadership to once again become a market leader that can draw talented people to want to work here. I'm hopeful long term. DD's successor doesn't exist in either company today. The Board will find someone outside the company, maybe as early as next year.

Where is the poor information? It is just speculation. That is what this board is for. You think that both will survive in the same geography? That doesn't make sense.

Boys, boys, boys, I hate to point out the obvious. BUT most of the men in both companies are dogs. At least fat women can lose weight but you can't fix ugly. Go ahead and work out all you want but that's not helping at all!

Maybe at least some what decent looking men should be a prerequisite. I guess that's what you get when you have men hiring men.
