Who do you really miss that has left Merck?







I retired eight years ago after 33 years with Merck - 1984-2017. Those were the salad years - and I had the pleasure of working with many of the stellar individuals that are being "missed"...

Authentic appreciation for knowledge and experience. We used to have a high bar with stellar outcomes. It was consistent. In the last couple of years this bar has been drastically lowered, with management looking for cheap and low-experienced labor wherever and however they can get it. And turning a blind eye to things that would have never passed muster previously. I feel like it’s just a matter of time before we see serious ramifications.
 
























I don't remember his name, but the head of IT they brought in from Nike. He kept using sneaker analogies, highly entertaining. Not sure what happened but he lasted less than a year here.
