This is how the layoffs are manipulated. It's all about ROI(Return on Investment) That is how most reps are looked at. If you have a high salary then you can expect your goal to be high.

Novartis expects me to do my job and hit sales targets.

Of course reps want to hit there goals they don't make money if they don't. But unrealistic goals are another thing. Where I have seen the harrasement is on values and behaviors were the business was fine they would look for other BS to complaint about.
 












I was intimate with my dm. (big mistake, I know) It was cool at first. During the national meeting in Las Vegas, she got extremely upset because I wanted to spend time with Novartians that I hadn't seen in forever. She got an extra key from the front desk and during the day she walks up to me and says, I expect to see you later and don't make it obvious. By the time I did make it to her room, she was sleeping. We made love in the morning before the meeting and afterwards, I went back to my room to shower and prepare for the day. Needless to say, i was late and she called me out in the meeting. Later she says, "don't let you extra curricular activities affect your job performance. In public, she's tough as nails on me. In private, I stick my tongue so far in her, I can feel here heart beat. Oh well, maybe she'll get reassigned.
 












In Missouri they did not give accurate data, target lists included physicians from other states, Reclast data was ALL wrong, and there was NO WAY IN HELL you could see what you were actually producing because it was all screwed up!. It still is! Managers pick their faves and that is who gets the 3-2 and stock options-not based on performance because they cannot effectively manage target lists or performace! Ask Nancy S. the DM.
 


















After the last big round of layoffs and announcement that raises were capped and would avg around 1% or possibly 0 (Wait..... our CEO got an extra bonus of $20 Million that year!) we are told, "Just be glad you have a job." I find that intimadating.
Good news for some is that they werre released fron Novartis and went to other companies and got big raises and double dipped with the Novartis package.
 






Joseph Jimenez and his lower echelon management team can KISS MY ASS. Only keep the brown nosers aka toilet tonguers, ass kissers, "yes" people, "Oh, you look wonderful in that suit/dress, it becomes you" to ugly, fat DMs that tear others like they have a communicable disease.

I second that...I left pharma after 22 years and am startng my own business...who wants to subject themselves to all of the pharma crap day after day??? no amount of money was worth it for me to stay in this ridiculous industry...Granted, I will now have to live on about a third of what i made in pharma, but I am sooooo much happier now..and I Have my dignity back...no more role plays, manager coaching, and stupid field visits...

No serous person stays in pharma...
 






BRAVO!! Any of us who started our own business are doing better than the reps. If you were smart enough you will have this all lined up before you quit/were downsized and you can fly. The severance from Novartis can be a mad money account, the real $$$ come from running a viable company, owning all the capital, and gaining your soul back.
