When will they start laying off reps?

WARN act worker adjustment and retraining notification act a federal labor law requiring employers with 100 or more employees to provide 60 days notification if mass layoffs to occur. Many pharma companies abide by it but some find ways around it by not laying off all at once. We shall see how this goes..

Thank you for posting. Good luck everyone. Let’s hope they do the right thing.

why do you trolls come on here?! This is for pharmaceutical reps- you clearly aren’t one

As a rep who has a lot at stake in this company, I feel that it is best JT salvage what he can be selling the company before the Generics take over the marketplace. Only so much I can do to get a Dr to write that script. It will automatically get switched to a generic.

It’s not like any company can start production tomorrow and have available next week. Plus, any generic version won’t be cheap. There will be a little time. Fuck Brooks anyway...that guys a fuckin’ crook.

company is still trying to block this thing legally, and as that goes on, the Generic can’t launch
You do realize the court could deny hearing the case at any time, even today. And even that’s it. Supreme Court or bust. Who btw could also deny hearing the case. Dummy. You must come from enterprise.

This is absolutely untrue. Hikma and Dr. Reddy are preparing for a generic launch sometime in 2021. If, by some miracle Amarin wins the en banc, then there will be no launch. Amarin has already lost twice.

The right thing for everyone would be to cut costs immediately in the US by eliminating operations and focusing on the rest of the world or outright selling. What a mess.

Total BS, the right thing is to milk it for everything it's worth and ride it to the bitter end, it's just hard to say exactly when that will be, probably not less than six months, but probably not years either.

Search for a new job now, with the knowledge that we probably have until year's end. CMR's are on thinner ice.
