When will they start laying off reps?

Could be. They need to hammer out the two week severance agreements they will give, so that will take a day. CMRs are the easy cut. Over 5MMin salaries alone added to the bottom line right there.

Not true - when there is a massive layoff they are required to give a 60 day severance. Exactly what they did 2013
That’s NOT true. They are not required to give any notice whatsoever. You are an at Will employee. Guess people don’t read their contracts before signing them. Or maybe you just moonlight in HR dummy.

Bull and shit. Severance pay is a calculation based on a person’s time with the company and title. Nothing more, nothing less. 60 days is wishful thinking on your part.

in California there is the WARN ACT- google it. Companies with more that 75 workers must give a 60 day notice prior to a massive layoff. Not sure of any of the other states. Educate yourself before you start writing “BS”

google - federal warn act or California warn act- if a company is doing a massive layoff they have to by law provide a 60 day notice.

Do you realize the loopholes involved in that? So they lay us off in waves. The lawyers will get involved and protect the few, not the many.

WARN act worker adjustment and retraining notification act a federal labor law requiring employers with 100 or more employees to provide 60 days notification if mass layoffs to occur. Many pharma companies abide by it but some find ways around it by not laying off all at once. We shall see how this goes..

Definitely know a lot of companies that have gotten around that one way or another. Hopefully they’ll do the right thing, but save your money incase they don’t. Best of luck to everyone
