What's your opinion of Call ins?

LabCorp's Rule 78 is a complete joke. Sick and tired of my manager telling me to upsell when my book of business is falling. She doesn't care about my overall book only call ins because that's what her new manager is looking at.

Rule 78 won't go away and either will call-ins. KAE's need to focus on their book of business and maintain. Upsell is a joke when you lose more business.

IF YOU'RE NOT HAPPY LEAVE!!!!! DON'T MAKE OTHERS MISERABLE!!!!!!!!! LAZY LAZY F!!!!! GO WORK FOR ANOTHER COMPANY!!!!!!!! GO TO WORK NOW!!!!!!

I'm happy although frustrated because these call ins are worthless. KAE's need to focus on their book of business and perform like the "maintenance" reps that they are. Let the SME's "sell" and hand off their sales to maintain. Upsell my arse.

Not all call-ins are worth our trouble. A serious look @ the $ potential should be looked at before we even take on a call in. They have the most complaints and are the hardest to keep satisfied. They take up way too much time on the operations side as well. Remember this lc will not hire additional employees so if you spend extra time on a $200 month account you're taking away from your 20,000 account and their service level. If an account doesn't have a chance to meet $1,000 a month they should be encouraged to find a smaller lab

Call ins are worthless. Corporate needs to get a clue. Look at someone's overall territory instead of a damn snapshot. Everybody spends the month making sure their "call-ins" track. Managers worry about the call-ins instead of the the big picture. I'm so sick of this crap. Bunch of clowns at this place.

I worked at labcorp ten years ago and everyone complained about this method for getting paid. If you think this is ever going to change please let me know and I will finally by a lottery ticket!!

It's all a friggin' game that LabCrap gains by. And you are absolutely right. LabCrap can monitor new business without a sales person having to "call it in". Performance by the territory would be too easy.

Starting in January, none of our territories will be growing. All of us are going to take a 16% hit on Medicare reimbursements. It will not be long before the PPO's follow suit. Most PPO reimbursements look at Medicare as a bast line and pay slightly over that for Commercial insurance.

I bet you our Quota's will not drop! Which would make logical sense.

No. Quotas will not drop for the simple reoccurring theme LabCorp has always lived by. It gives LabCorp the opportunity to clean house. Retain the good a** kissers and make expendable the average salespeople to be replaced by lesser salaried, so called "go getters". The RIF is right around the corner again.

1. My territory is up like 23.193% YTD
2. Me and my SME like totally rock socks
3. We are going to like rock like socks next year
4. My new goal is like to make 66K next year
5. GO ME!!!

Why doesn't your lame LabCorp management learn to look at territories. You don't call in pharma scripts as docs write when they want to. It's about how much revenue your total zip codes bring in. It would seem that reps just focus on the call ins and neglect the rest if that's how you are paid. No wonder why your competitors, like me are carving into your revenue. Good luck next year! I'm going to take a huge chunk from you feeble folks!

I don't know what region you are in, but most large managed care companies look at Medicare as a baseline and pay way below that, not slightly above.

Are you saying you are going to make 66K next year just in in bonus or total income?
Just trying to figure out if you were serious.
