What's it like at Orexo???

Anyone else get a call in the last day from Orexos attorneys stating the feds May contact any ex employees with questions? Why did I work here?

Yes, I received a call from a law firm representing Orexo and said I may or may not receive a call from the Feds ! WTF ! Thanks a lot and as a parting gift, they will provide representation at no charge. That will look great on a background check when I’m trying to get out of here.

It’s a low level company. The management structure is based on fear and passed onto the field reps. I was there a few years ago and it was horrible.
Yep and it’s still the same people are scared of Craig in that company especially leadership I mean what company goes from hiring specialty reps and because they quit they hire entry level associate reps. Very weird company I’m happy I left as well!

What gives with these ridiculous amount of field rides ??? It’s driving me insane.

Sadly this is a Craig thing my manager always told me that he was sorry and he was told to ride with me and it was all day. They love to babysit. I was also told they had previous reps just drive up and down the freeway lol. It’s funny because there is a tracker on your company car. But it doesn’t get better I only lasted like 9 months due to the micromanagement and the leadership in general.

Leadership believes in micromanagement and also punishing reps for previous rep mishaps. I was told 3 years ago by my manager that old reps did everything from having two jobs to stealing and selling gas lol. Plus with all the turnover and them not wanting to hire seasoned reps it gives CS more control

Wasn’t Safron fired at RB and came here ?

Managers have a “quota” so it’s not their fault. Most would candidly agree they don’t need to see in action you as often… good managers can help set the tone for development, and it’s not about going into 8-10 offices a day. Try managing up to see if you can reach an accord. I know, easier said than done.

Disagree, had managers on the “quota” and we would have lunch make a call the they would leave and let me do my job and keep my providers happy not to see them but me.
Those are people that know how to manage

That does not happen here, it’s like we are rookies and constantly being trained this wild management style

I’ll have to agree with some of these field ride posts. It actually is an amazing amount and I’ve been in this industry for over 4 years and never seen anything like this.

Managers also frequently ride to gauge if your territory is necessary to have a rep. I don’t know if you know this but there’s ton of white space in Orexo that they are just making money off and not paying a rep to call on those docs. I completely forgot it was either two or 3 years ago they laid two reps off in Louisiana and the reasoning was it didn’t make sense to have a rep there based on the volume in those cities. Orexo loves to get rid of people and they often find reasons to not pay I heard over half the sales force didn’t make commission a few quarters ago.

This if true, explains to some degree why so many people voluntarily quit or are fired here. Sad a company that preaches its value of treatment treats it reps as bad as the addicts are treated at some clinics but at least Geri is repping out glamour shots on LinkedIn

Lol at the Geri comment, I actually saw the common sense article she posted on LinkedIn and was liked by the usual suspects.
