What's Going On With This Company?

All lies. That last post was clearly written by a manager trying to save a sinking ship. I know a ton of reps to looking to leave after the recent lovely news. All my surgeons no longer use it due to cost constraints. You can definitely do a procedure without it. The ports are way overpriced compared to standard trocars. The clinical data is BS and all smoking mirrors. Surgeons have finally figured that out. I just did another evaluation and the surgeon saw no clinical benefit. All of my surgeons had no issues going back to regular trocars.
Generally, are the main competitors JnJ and Medtronic/US Surg? What is their response in accounts where this replaces their technology. What is the GPO response when this replaces a contracted item? Does the surgeon have enough clout to keep the product for patient benefit reason? What is the overall cost outcome, and do you have a story to tell about cost savings beyond just price of your product vs. Ethicon?

not sure about all that but definitely not looking good. Hospitals are not buying IFS anymore due to cost and I heard a bunch of territories are tanking. Most of my hospitals are going back to the older standard ports due to cost and GPO compliance. Time to get the resume out there, noone is gonna buy us, all smoking mirrors and the rumor is the VC's are furious due to slow sales

Well, now what knucklehead. You have no idea what you are talking about. I bet you haven't sold a system in months.

There are many competitors in this space that are replaced when this product line is used. However, Ethicon and US Surg would be the two largest. Globally, we have been getting the low hanging fruit to get to 48 million in sales. To get this product to the next level we will have to get more Ethicon and US Surical business with Conmed's help.

who is US Surgical? The largest competitors I see are Medtronic/Covidien, Ethicon and in really cheap/ghetto accts, Applied Medical & Teleflex. 2 accounts here in the Northeast have converted at least part of their surgeons back to the non-disposable trocars!

They were bought out in 1998 ahole. That was almost 20 years ago. No one calls them that except some old timers that are holding on to what they probably consider "the good 'ol days" thinking they're still cool by calling themselves former US Surgical reps. Get a clue or retire old man.

LOL you sell trocars errrrday

Way to go "anonymous." You must be a quality individual to post this.

You sticking up for ISIS girl Kurt? He does need people to stick up for him - for he is a sissy girl. Hope he loves his money, cause it will never buy him ethics or a ticket out of "uglyville". Could you imagine being an engineer that had to sit in the corner of US Surgical with no credit. No wonder he can't relate to people and had the personality of caged animal.
