What's going on a MicroPort?

On a more serious note, saw the first names for the rif in March. This one isn't going g to be pretty. Not that any of them are.

You did not see anything, you are a sad little person that thinks you are in the know.
Ask yourself if you add value and earn your salary, my guess is NO. Eliminating non value added positions is not a RIF, it is simply good business and there is NO list. You are the company idiot !

There's only one idiot here if you think HR doesn't have lists prior to each rif. Considering this company has been cut to the bone, it's hard to argue that most positions to be eliminated are "non value added" at this point. Unless you count your own. Then you may have a point. You're sounding more angry and insecure by the minute.

The chinese new year begins on Monday, February 9, 2016. 2016 is the Red Fire Monkey Year. Monkey is the 9th animal in 12 zodiac signs. Monkey is after 8th Sheep and before 10th Chicken. Monkey is the animal in the first of Metal Cycle. Monkey, Chicken and Dog are in the cycle of Metal. The chinese horoscope prediction combines the theory of Five Elements, the relationships betweens animal signs and the image meaning of I-Ching hexagram.

According to chinese Five Elements Horoscopes, Monkey contains Metal and Water. Metal is connected to gold. Water is connected to wisdom and danger. Monkey is a smart, naughty, wily and vigilant animal. If you want to have good return for your money investment, then you need to outsmart the Monkey. Metal is also connected to the Wind. That implies the status of events will be changing very quickly. Think twice before you leap when making changes for your finance, career, business relationship and people relationship.

Which brings us to the following conclusion: if you don't want a repeat of the chinese Christmas gift of 2015 -- the oh-so-practical tea kettle -- you would be well-advised to spank the monkey.
Dear China,
Happy F•ckin New Year!
