Maybe if you make it your Christmas wish it will happenI was just referring to a past post in this thread. I don't remember what page it was on. I haven't heard or know of anything for sure.
I believe Microport will turn around in 2016 and put everyone to work. I'm hoping so anyway.
MPO is on a 5 year plan ..... moving all to China, Arlington will close! Understand that is the only reason Joines is still around to see this through. Even the execs that are left know the plan....Aurelio did not move his family locally so he would not have to move them twice in such a short time. He is being paid quite a lot, including his children's private school. Of course if you happen to catch HR or Legal out for a few after work, there's a good chance you could hear more of what MPO Shanghai is doing.
For the employees that are relied upon heavily for their knowledge, now is the time to push for more money, because they have no choice but to give in. Basically, get as much as you can from MPO before you leave or get laid off whichever comes first because after all business is business.
Many great working folks there at MPO. Exec team is new and has a lot to learn regarding business acumen and emotional intelligence.
Is it true that Joines is setting up manufacturing in China ?
He has tons of stock with wright left over from his daddy he ain't worrieddoesn't joines know all he's doin is just helpin close down the place?
Wrong - just instruments. Implants will be manufactured in Arlington. And implants

What's the benefit to machining stuff in arlington when it can all be done in china for a fraction of the cost? The arlington plant won't exist this time next year.
There are many countries that we ship parts to that want American made implants.
The "made in China" parts that have a "CO'" after the item number are machined and metal finished in Arlington and shipped to China to do everything else. I have personally worked on these orders in the knee department.
I hope you are second shift and not using the company wireless. We definitely monitor for this website. Please be careful
