What % of reps are hitting 100%?

Hate to break it to you but some of the "clueless new reps" are being screwed by the bridge. The bridge prevents new reps who are doing well from getting paid. Conveniently, any new doc adds come out of the bridge and you will not receive any overages unless you are over 100% the entire bridge period. Funny how this was left out during the interview process.

Tina will be gone by the NSM. Question is whom will she bring down. There's only one district over budget for the year and the reason is they did not add in TOPA into the budget. Clueless new reps on bridges are making more money then reps that built this company. Tell me that is equitable.

Ouch, last thing any of us "old-timers" are trying to do is create an old vs new argument...right now we are all getting railed together. I think we just have more emotionally invested since we felt like built so much of what we have as a company to this day.

Actually new reps never had it easier -- a 6 month bridge! Those of us who have been year 2 or more years only had a 3 month bridge when we started so stop your whining. In many districts the reps on bridges are making more money than the established reps that built the company. Just confirms how little the company thinks of the veteran reps. Pathetic.

We appreciate the Genoptix "old timers" and what they built. It was the right thing at the right time. The lab landscape is changing very rapidly and the company must change also to survive. Stop holding on to the past, as it is an anchor holding the company back.

Company must change? No crap Sherlock but I'm sure you new dipshits are the right folks to lead that change -- certainly with all of your knowledge of competitors, the customers, and the marketplace.

Sorry to hear you're being screwed but don't take it out on the new hires. The bridge was part of their offer. So why hold it against them? If you were in their situation would you turn it down? I would assume you're one of those people who gripe about other people's numbers too. I agree the company (specifically the IC plan) has many flaws but focus on yourself rather than everyone else.

Great advice Lindsay! Should have added the standard, "if you don't like it leave."

Funny-who are "old timers?" Here at Genoptix 3 years is an award....seriously. This is a crying shame! No loyalty, dedication or team work. Not a good environment for a career. Doesn't management want to address the problem? Not a Retention Bonus. Why don't you ask your reps...not management. Where's the questionnaires and rep evaluations of the company and of the sucky management?
a Rep that Was Looking For A Career Here.

You forgot TV. Since he was once VP of Sales as well. Including Tony Tina has fired 3 VP of Sales in 2 years. One more round of firings before she goes should fill the ticket!

Tina is trying to tie with her marriage & divorce record. Hope someone fires her!

Tina Sam and Doug over promised wall street then over worked the reps and everyone else. She should share the millions she made of everyone elses hardwork

Is it true that the stack ranking leaders have monthly budgets of $60 -80k? How are they getting paid more that people who are bringing in 3-4 times that amount? If the budget is that size is the territory actually viable? Another corporate blunder. Reward the reps who bring in less and penalize the reps who bring in more. WTF?

That sounds fair? So why do these territories exist?
