I'm curious as to why you are here on Amarin or any other company site? What are your motives for posting?
 






I am trying to help children grow up and take adult careers not jobs -
For their own sake!

Maybe if enough people follow this advice, there will be value in pharma.

I doubt this will ever happen

Oh, you mean like you? Let's see you take other people's hard earned money tell them you are
Investing it for their retirement and then charge them fees that take 2/3 of their profits over the next 35 years! You are a scumbag!!

I cannot convey on an anonymous board what a gigantic mistake this would be. There is only one reason to work for Amarin. And that reason is that you are unemployed and desperate. Do NOT quit a job to come here and do NOT stop looking once you accept an offer. I wish I could look you in the eyes, but I can't. The best I can do is pray that something in my post strikes a chord with you, my friend. Do not quit your job. The promises made will turn into lies!

Can you be specific? How do I know you are not just a jilted rep that was laid off?
 






Thanks, it'd been very stressful. My district has not had a DM in one year and three months. Vacant territories are not being filled, and numbers are declining. We are in fear of getting laid off. This is why I am considering and opportunity with Amarin. Do you know the starting base pay range?

Seriously...this person is absolutely correct! s/he is not being an ass or funny on a board. What s/he is saying is accurate. If you are unemployed that is a different story. I would not leave a job for this one.

My manager looked me in the eyes and LIED to my face about the pay, bonus, literally I do not believe a word that comes out of his/her mouth. I made the decision so shame on me..... I am just trying to save you from a similar fate. I wish I could say it to your face as well. I would share so much more but I cannot on this board.

Hard to say since we all started around the same (+/- 5k). If you are a "favorite" you will make 70k. If you are just a regular then expect mid 60's.

Bonus as always depends on territory and formulary coverage. I beg and scrape for every single rx and it's not enough.

Management will say attaining 100% goal is easy. It's not. That will be the first lie they tell you......
