The seperation package is just seperate your cheeks and take it deep!
Lisa M is a f'n SVP? She's a secretary!!! EVP??? Just in case any one was left wondering why Bristol ruined this company, that is a perfect example of why we are all out of work. L Meadows is a SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT!!?? What a complete injustice in this hideous cluster f of a company.
What did you expect them to do once BM left??? Should they have posted for a SVPHR on the website and begun interviews knowing the company is going out of business in a matter of weeks?? You're just another dumb fuck rep who has no clue in this life nor your own life. Good luck finding another job you mindless asswipe!
Umm, what I expect is that titles don't get handed out like porn brochures on the Las Vegas strip. Lisa could have performed her functions w/o that title. Of course, maybe the court demanded that the company have an HR VP and so Lisa's title was elevated. More likely, it's another example of the pathetic widespread distribution of titles throughout Bristol in the event that any benefits are allocated based on title when this all blows up. How many VP's are down there? Lots and lots....
You are right that a lot of people there probably don't deserve the title they have, but Lisa Meadows does not fit that category. Anyone who has ever actually worked with her on anything knows that. She is very smart, does a great job, and is a class act!

I agree, I have worked at 3 pharma companies and she is the first HR person that I have dealt with that has ever given a shit as "evindenced" by the unlimited emails she has answered since the notice went out on Wednesday. This is more communication than we have ever had in the field. So what... she got a bump in title..at least this one was well deserved unlike others we have seen in the past 3 years and it definitely didn't begin the downward spiral of GW.
No question that Lisa is gold. You have to think she was forced to send out that blindsiding, bs email on Tuesday. Then she has to spend the next 2 days talking people off ledges and patiently answering the same questions 20 times because, for whatever reason, the idiots in charge (lawyers?) won't let her send a blanket FAQ memo out to all personnel. She is caught in the middle and is doing the best she can.
Since the price of "gold" is so high right now maybe she will negotiate us a hell of a severance package.
Religion has its place but not in the workplace. . . these people are zealots and you see how they treat their fellow brothers.[/QUOTE said:There is room in the workplace for religion, but JG blew it big time at the first meeting in Dallas in January 2007. When someone from the audience asked him how he decided on the name Graceway, he said he was influenced by two passages in the Bible dealing with grace. He recited the first one and forgot the other. No one who passes themselves as religious and a Bible-quoter ever forgets chapter and verse.
Instead of calling the company Graceway he should have called it Hypocrite.

All that running around we did yesterday on the promise of a sev package? Not a guarantee, but a promise? I hope our good faith is rewarded by a little something at least. On another note: anyone know anything about unemployment benefits?
Severance?? They most likely fuck'd us. Unemployment benefits are based on your state.
So your last day was yesterday but they didn't tell you what your severance is, or will be???
That is correct. We all had to empty our storage lockers and mail equipment back to the distribution center. If we failed to do so, we forfeited our "severance, if any is forthcoming". So, all the effort yesterday (returning cars, samples, computers, etc.) was done on faith.
