What can Solstas employees expect?

The best and brightest of Quest are the ones who are smart enough to get some experience and get the heck out. It's hilarious that anyone at SLP thinks you will change quest. You might as well take a job picking up trash at a national park with the expectation that you are going to change the federal government. You simply will not make a difference or be noticed.

Quest is 40,000 employees deep. Maybe 500 SLP employees survive after this is all said and done. And all of those will be at the lowest levels of the organization.

The weak and unmotivated will soon be thinned out on both sides. That is your future and it is already in the works. As for my friend's advice, I would focus on learning new job skills instead of wasting time lifting. Can you remember hold the pickle and hold the lettuce if we ask you to?

Quest arranged for the proper talent to secure the SLP assets prior to even making an offer son. If Quest could have handled that without us they could have saved $570m and picked it up themselves. Worry about your own performance and don't try to figure out how things work so far above your pay grade.

Quest sales reps are fools. I'm sorry, I think they like to call themselves Accont Executives so the are less embarressed when telling their family and friends what they do for a living. I wish SG, CE, PA, JB the best of luck at SONIC/AEL/Sunrise/CPL because that is just about their only option. They will never make that kind if money again. It's well known that CE/SG have been buying business with EMR donations - legal or not - it was pure inducement. Everyone at Solstas knows it.

Where they gonna go and make that money again?

Look, everyone knows the Quest comp plan is different and not as lucrative. That is one of the main differences in a regional lab scrapping for business and a big box lab that lives on managed care contracts. Quest is more of an account maintenance organization. Sales opportunities come from getting non-compliant clients in line with the contract and big/creative deals. The latter are few and far between. If the top performers stay in the lab business they will make less money. Otherwise they will find another industry.

I am a MAE. I've made Spectrum/Solstas millions. I've been on sales trips.

You can try to belittle my credibility as a means of redirecting from the truth of the message but it won't work.
