Welcome to the Warner Chilcott board

Can anybody tell me who does contract manufacturing for WC and if possible which type of process equipment (Glatt, Niro, Vector ect...) they use ?. Your help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Horrible company to work for. Dont come here, you will regret it. the company finds way to cheat people out of money all the time. nothing positive to say about this company and the people.

Wow! All I see are these horrible posts and it is definitely scary considering that I am thinking about working for them... Can anyone tell me what the average rep makes in a year? I am currently working for a company that I love, but this company that I love is not paying the bills.

PLEASSEEEE!!! Can someone give me some details, not about how much you hate the company...but how much people make. That's it. I know this probably sounds horrible, but I really really would like to know. Thanks!!

Yes, I am in the same boat as you, considering leaving a great company to leave for more money. I have a friend who just got hired and loves their job with WC, but it sounds like the problems come down the road. Obviously, if you sit on your butt all day watching Days of Our Lives, and get fired for not working, you are going to hate, and lash out at the company. But, is this a legit company to work for? I would also like to know the answer to this question. Do people hate it for not doing their job, or is it a great company to work for that expects sales people to sale?

This has been mentioned numerous times already but needs to be said again:

Look at the number of job postings on WC's website. That's all one needs to know moving forward with their decision to work or not to work for WC.

It's not about a lazy rep here and there. It's the WC culture that kills good, hard working reps.

I use to work at WC until one day they hired billy bob to manage our district. Oh this guy was so cool and MAN, I didn't know how he knew my territory better than me?? He really knew how to motivate his reps AND detail L24!!! "hey guys","when you go into the ob/gyn offices just tell the clinicians", "Yaz is a dangerous drug and your gonna see lawsuits happening very soon". It didn't take long before ole billy bob was asked NOT to bash the competition by my clinicians. There were a few offices that TOLD me NOT to bring him in their office. This guy didn't have a clue how to manage and motivate his district. If you read this billy bob, keep this mind, you did me a huge favor by giving me the option to leave or else be fired. I remember that day in the hotel lobby, you were so nervous that your hands were shaking and your forehead was sweating. lol,,,I actually felt sorry for you. You drove in to town to fire me and even had an armed security guy sitting about 20 yards away like I was going to get up and start swinging like mike tyson,,,lol You really don't know me. I was a calm and cool as a cucumber. I have nothing to worry about.
My Savior is Lord of the universe and owns it all. He is called The Great Provider, and He has provided food, shelter, and anything that He knows I need to survive. I love Him and trust Him. Proverbs 3:5-6
God is probably not pleased with me writing this about WC and ole billy bob. He says, "vengeance is mine saith the Lord", "I will repay".
WC is a huge supporter of Planned Parenthood and really the big reason why is b/c of the all mighty dollar. One day I was in a district meeting and billy bob told me that I needed to call on Planned P/hood and some other doctor around the block from Planned P/hood. I didn't want to step one foot into that cemetery of the devils playground. But I followed orders from my mgr. I went in and was told to wait in the basement where they ate lunch. No one was down there. It was cold and damp and had the smell of death. The doctor finally came down to see me, we talked about my product for a minute then he got started talking about how much he hated America and that he was going to make as much money as soon as possible and go live on some exotic island far away from everybody. Do you see where I'm going with this?? He was a miserable man. His heart was cold and full of hate. He needed a Savior, he needed Jesus. I knew it wasn't the place or time to share with him how to become a christian so I asked him to dinner. We met for dinner one night. Started talking about sports, the economy, his family and then,,,,,I asked him the most important question that he needed to be asked....."doc, if you died tonight, where would you spend eternity? He said, HELL, and then he asked me where would you, I said with someone who hung naked on a cross and died for our sins just so we could have everlasting life with Him in heaven where there's no pain, no suffering, no malice, no diesease, no worries, no evil what so ever!!! I began to share with him how much God loves him and regardless of whatever sins he's committed, Jesus wants to forgive him of his sins.
He said he wasn't ready to give up this lifestyle he's living. He wanted to make more $$ then he would consider becoming a christian one day. I shared with him what bible says,"what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul"? I told him its great to make money, just don't make it your God. It all will become ashes one day.
The bible says, "life is but a vapor, it appears for a while then vanishes".
Whoever you are that reads this, whether your a former WC rep, WC DM, WC RM, and yes you too Mr. CEO of Warner Chilcott,,,,,,you can play this game of selling your drugs, eating nice dinners, making big $$, riding around in your company cars, flying all over the world, wearing your new suits, talking like you have a degree from Harvard,,,,,,,,,,, BUT,,,,,,,,,, ONE DAY,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,YOU TOO,,,,HAVE TO ANSWER THE SAME QUESTION THAT I ASKED THAT DOCTOR,,,,,WHERE WILL YOU spend eternity? Heaven or Hell, it's YOUR CHOICE!!

I didn't know Kirk Cameron got into the industry:)

Nothing glamorous about WC unless you think being laid face down and having someone(DM/RM who the DM is trying to impress so he can keep his job) shit and piss on your back while you are trying to do everything you can if that sounds good to you then you will love WC. Take it from someone who is currently employed by WC and works 50-60 hours a week.. Nothing will ever be good enough for this company and if you are looking for a long term job then you are looking in the wrong place. Funny thing is I am very successful at what I do for this company. Keep me in your prays bc I currently trying to get out of this hell hole.

I find it interesting that a couple of you brag about how "great" of a company Warner Chilcott is. I had over seven years in Pharma, and was highly disappointed from the very beginning. First, they talk a big game about the money you can earn, haha. The pay is less than I made eleven years ago, with Merck, straight out of college.
They did a layoff on 10 December.....yes, two weeks before Christmas, and paid those personnel for the ten days. No heads up, so you could look for a job, plan for and cancel Christmas trips already planned and paid for. It was a horrible, unprofessional, unethical way to treat the families that had worked very hard, many evenings, for a company that pays very little. It is a joke of a company, with the worst management I have ever seen in my life.
My manager who is a devout Mormon, had me pay physicians, here in Texas, to get them to prescribe. No, not after they were prescribing....put them on the payroll to give them an incentive to prescribe. So corrupt of a system in that company.
If you are considering this company, in Texas, or anywhere else....DO NOT !!

Do not go to this company. The ones who survived the 10 December layoff, many of whom came from P&G, have different opinions because they are thinking of that company, not the short term job(s) with WC. This company promises great money, pays extremely low salaries, and works you tirelessly. The speakers get paid regardless of what they write, and are often put on the payroll to get them to write...(yes, pay for play). My former manager is a devout Mormon, here in Texas, who was totally into this. He would say, " even if they are not writing, this will motivate them". What an unethical company. Noone ever said a word because they needed a job...oh well. They couldnt even do like all the other company's and give you a month or two to get things together for your family. They laid us off on 10 December 2011, with zero notice...yep, two weeks before Christmas. Over 275 families without a job.
Let me just say, I hate the company, my ex manager, and the unethical way they do business. ( And for all the corruption, that crappy ass drug, still has less than a 5% market share.

No there is nothing positive. If you can hire on with any other Pharma Co. you should do so. I am in the Osteo Division and insurance coverage is horrible, leadership is worse and the required evening hours are ridiculous.

I have read a lot of different opinions about WC on this site. I have been with WC for 6+years and it has been one of the best career moves I have made. The money has been great, in fact much better than many/most of my friends in big pharma. I broke $100,000 in 99 and have continued to earn more every year. I have never made less than $40,000 in bonus in any year and have gotten promoted based on my performance. I have had great managers and home office people and if any one were considering a job at WC I would do what ever you had to to be part of this group.

Go ahead, take the plunge, sell your sole to the devil and be miserable!!! I do not know a single WC employee that was happy with their job. Yes you can earn up to 75k a year in bonus, the reality is that few do. Is it because that all the people they hire were "bad hires", "mistakes", "people couldnt handle it", "not good sales people"? NO!! If you have interviewed at WC you know you have to be in the top 10% of your previous salesforce. Go ahead and figure out the mathematical probability of all these people being a "mistaken hire". WRONG, the people that leave get sick of selling a drug that has zero formulary coverage, almost identical efficacy to generic and have a conscience, are moral and have other options for an actual respectable place to work. I would encourage the FDA or any other governing body to do an exit interview with every person that has worked at the WC for the last 5 years. The resounding answer would be the same, huge shit hole, encouraged to do unethical and illegal activities to get the job done. Leaving the WC is the best career move I have ever made. Good luck!!

I finally looked at this crazy site and was surprized at the number of unhappy people who are not working and complaining about making money. I have been in this industry for 20+ years with big pharma. Warner Chilcott is a great company who will continue to go through growing pains for a while. Do they do everything right? Certainly not, but they do what they feel is a positive thing for the company and its employees. As far as good pay and bonus, I can assure you that there is not another company in this industry that you can increase your wealth as fast as with WC. There will be many reps this year who will make$100,000. Look at the quantum program now and it will be repeated. Don't cry to me that you have no opportunities here. Get off your ass, improve your selling skills and you too will have a great future. I have not regretted a day that I have spent with Warner Chilcott. The grass is not always greener on the other side, and as far as the selling of the company. We will not be affected.Being an american owned company will only strengthen us. Stop complaining and start working. I promise you and your families a secure future

Your family will have plenty of money while you are in jail you fucking shit head!
