Jesus died on the cross because the Jewish leaders wanted him dead. How did that get turned into paying for and saving us all from ourselves?
Today i went grocery shopping on Novartis and put it on the man. Over 500 dollaz on papa. Tomorrow i fill up all my cars on fleet. I think i am going to buy a new computer next week from office max. I dare them to fire me.
It never ceases to bewilder me as to how otherwise intelligent people could so firmly believe in fairy tales after they get through--oh, I don't know--the 5th grade or so. Once I deduced that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny weren't real, it became hard to fathom that creation started with a couple of teenagers in the Garden of Eden.
I know indoctrination and fear must play a large factor. It's just that I don't tell anyone what to believe or ascribe to in their lives, and would appreciate the same respect in return.
Message to Tim Tebow: If there is a God, he's not concerned with the outcome of Denver/New England this or any other weekend. Plus, the Patriots won't be dumb enough to put 8 in the box all day and give up bombs in 1 on 1 coverage, so, take the Pats at home laying the points.
You are a sick pup!!!!!!Lord make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury,pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen, GOD Bless, and You are loved !

Jesus did not die on the cross because the Jewish leaders wanted him dead. These were only circumstances used to conduct God's will.
Jesus died on the cross as a sacrifice to save us from sin. In the time of the old testament animals especially lambs were sacrificed to atone (seek forgiveness) for sins. Jesus's death eliminated the need for animal sacrifice since he was the ultimate sacrifice for all of man's sin.
That is why in church and in your Bible Jesus is referred to as "the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world." It is finished!! All you need do now to be forgiven of sin and to have everlasting life in heaven is to believe in Jesus and accept him as your lord and savior.
No one gets to the father without believing in his son. God gives you the choice. You can choose to believe in Jesus who sacrificed for you or you can reject him.
I am a believer in Jesus Christ our lord and it is truly the most important choice you will ever make in your life since it is eternal, so choose wisely.
