Where's the WARN for Met layoff ? Abbvie must provide 60 calander day advance written notice of the intention of laying off more than 50 employees during any 30-day period. There's NO WARN issued ! How come ?
 












The layoff came yesterday,
It’s interesting how the company can give millions of dollars to Puerto Rico but yet lay off its own people? People who will suffer just as much pain as those they give money too. I guess that’s good PR and employees are just a throw away $$ who cares.

I was laid off yesterday with 4 others in my district, the package was standard fair but what’s a shame is quality high rated employees fired and not given jobs that are available and then the insult of go interview for open positions when they only give them to their friends. They are full of shit. A shame.............

FYI The Puerto R $$ are tax deductible. Wish all ABBV employees the best, I retired last year...

Amitiza and I spent time at the lake earlier this morning. I watched her chase a couple of squirrels, but wasn't able to "grab" one. Oh well, she may be able to get one from our backyard at home!
Tonight the Rockets play Golden State here! The game starts at 8:00 CST at Toyota Center. This is game 5.
The 'Stros play in Cleveland later today. 5:00 CST I think. Yes, it's an unusual starting time.
