Wake up MM

Come on Mm you are smarter than this..you are being made a fool by someone. EB is also, not even trying.

Can we say "diversity'? EB hasn't won anything/proven her value in a significant leadership role and she is connected. Phadia isn't going to exceed 20% growth per year with nepotism and agenda's.

MM is a male chauvinist pig. Look at the 7 promotions discussed at NSM. Only 1 was female and was stolen from home office. Unless you're related to him (EB), live in the NE, or are a white male, you're not getting anywhere in this company. To move Phadia to the next level, DE needs to get rid of the dirty laundry.

It won't happen, probably because of the board. Speaking of which, regarding a person not in primary cary sales, we were told not to say specific things to a board member floating around at a past major meeting. Actually, it came to us like a threat, but a veiled one. Lots is kept from the top. But you got a guy floating around who is, after all, the worlds best and most convincing salesman. He wins awards from everyone who is not US based. Its quite the balancing act but he pulls it off.

How would you like to stop talking in riddles and actually tell us what the hell you're talking about

Whoever said what is considered poor management in other companies is rewarded here, hit the nail on the head to use a way overused expression. I can confirm the "be careful what you say to the Board member if you happen to run into him," and the detail that went into how we were to behave, what not to say. Also can confirm much of the rest. I hope the top can put the pieces together. It is not our place to do it. Riddles are there for a reason. A couple of people do not a bad company make, unless the operational strategy hurts people. We all have our opinions about what it is all right to do to others, and how the company treats the people they hire to work for them. If the Board and CEO thinks this is the way to run the company, so be it.

Anyone on the outside now, understand you did not fit into the structure. Don't post in anger over how you were treated. Given what you know, is that a bad thing? be at peace.

I don't quite understand why "be careful what you say around person XYZ" is a bad thing to say to your people.

We have all seen Career Limiting Moves at every one of these types of meetings - be it with Phadia or another company - this sounds like a warning to be on good behavior because "The Man" is going to be watching. When the COO and the CEO come in from Sweden it sounds like a reasonable warning...

Personally, I don't have a problem with this. I have seen reps walk up to Sr. Mgmt. employees totally drunk and ask them what they did at the company, not knowing they were a VP or Director.

It sounds like it was just a warning to not do anything stupid.

Am I wrong here? I just don't see why you would interpret this comment in such a negative way.

You were not there. Generally, you are correct. This situation was very different. But as someone said, accurately I would say, this is a different place than most, operating the same as old pharma, and yet, so very different.
