It won't happen, probably because of the board. Speaking of which, regarding a person not in primary cary sales, we were told not to say specific things to a board member floating around at a past major meeting. Actually, it came to us like a threat, but a veiled one. Lots is kept from the top. But you got a guy floating around who is, after all, the worlds best and most convincing salesman. He wins awards from everyone who is not US based. Its quite the balancing act but he pulls it off.
How would you like to stop talking in riddles and actually tell us what the hell you're talking about
I don't quite understand why "be careful what you say around person XYZ" is a bad thing to say to your people.
We have all seen Career Limiting Moves at every one of these types of meetings - be it with Phadia or another company - this sounds like a warning to be on good behavior because "The Man" is going to be watching. When the COO and the CEO come in from Sweden it sounds like a reasonable warning...
Personally, I don't have a problem with this. I have seen reps walk up to Sr. Mgmt. employees totally drunk and ask them what they did at the company, not knowing they were a VP or Director.
It sounds like it was just a warning to not do anything stupid.
Am I wrong here? I just don't see why you would interpret this comment in such a negative way.
