Yet further denialism by blaming the speedometer for the speeding ticket. Promoting and hiring has always been based upon Caucasian comfort and nepotism. It’s ALWAYS made sense to hire based upon skills and ability yet overwhelmingly throughout American history those persons without the complexion for the protection RARELY are evaluated based upon “skills and ability.” THIS is why DEI initiatives are needed. Since you’re in the group that ALWAYS has the advantages and overwhelmingly benefit I don’t expect you to embrace DEI but surely you understand.
Well I'm not in what you call the advantaged group and can tell you the DEI initiatives here have hurt me. Harder for people who don't work with me directly to take me seriously because of all the DEI promotions given to people who are inept or incapable or not ready but got the promotion/job because they check a DEI box. I'm living it and have seen many promotions that make sense for only one reason. DEI! Sad, really sad.
