Very dumb recruiters

Spoke to two PSS recruiters in the last 2 weeks about an opening. I was amazed at how little they knew about the product s and the client company. Why does PSS even use recruiters? They are more of a hindrance than a help.

All three recruiters I have dealt with here are worthless, unresponsive and generally just completely apathetic. I am about to leave this dump and to tell PSS to eat a bag of dicks. Life is too short to be stuck at this dead end poorly run dump.

Got a call from one of these recruiter idiots last week. She was a complete stammering, 100 miles an hour talking moron who admitted she knew almost nothing about the position she was calling me for. Where and why do they get these idiots? What an embarrassment.

PSS recruiter called me and actually asked me "if I knew someone younger" who might be interested in the position.
Are you kidding me?
Bottom of the barrel!

You should have told them..."Absolutely, but that information would mean that you would be losing half of your placement fee because I'm not here to do your job. I'm in sales and I expect to receive commission for any placement I provide you from my network. My fee is at least half of what what you'd receive." Then you would ask for the starting base salary of the position they are placing for and do some background homework to confirm salary on your end. Calculate between 7-10% of starting salary and 50%of that amount is around what your split should be. Make sure a written contract is established between the two parties and you may even have it notarized.

Most of their dumb recruiters are double dipping contractors.
A gal called me and would not even give her last name!!
What a dumb shit.
Do you really think I will tell you my salary history when I don't even know with whom I am speaking?
No way, sister.

No. No. You don't understand.
You don't discuss your salary. You find out the salary of the position that they're recruiting for to determine what you could potentially make

Except that they do not make placement fees.... They are paid an hourly rate. So much for your advice.

OMG. Got a call yesterday from one of these airheads! She quite literally knew NOTHING about the position or the company they were hiring for. On top of that she was amazingly condescending and rude for some reason. Where in the world do they get these dolts? Why do they even use recruiters? Why would anyone want to work here? Almost funny but also insulting to have them waste my time.

Well what do you expect? This is a CSO and probably the worst one in existence. Everything here is 3rd rate at best including the dumbshit recruiters.

Just a bunch of part time mommys with huge butts that could care less. Just take care of your goofy looking brats, you are failing miserably at this gig you cellulite ridden losers.

Yeah,
how do you like it when a recruiter gives you tons of paperwork, deadlines to meet, interviews to go to and then acts like you are bothering them when you follow up on the opportunity? Weird, really weird people.

My DM told me all the recruiters her are independent contractors??? WTF!??? He hates dealing with them as much as we reps do. No wonder they are such a sad joke. The have no managers and get paid by they hour. Biggest bunch of incompetent, nasty and just plain stupid people I have ever dealt with.. Great job PSS in putting these useless morons in charge of hiring! LOL

Yes, you are correct. I had one of these losers contact me about 'an expansion opportunity'. After I wasted a lot of time and effort, the hiring manager clarified that he would never hire anyone put forward by a PSS recruiter. He just fired the person the same recruiter had placed!!
