You don't know what you are talking about. Vertex's market cap is over 7 billion and GILD recently announced a stock buy back of $5Billion. In other words, that's not going to happen. Now, another company buying Vertex, that's another question...

You are right. Many RD's have gone underground, especially where the previous SRD's were located (and hired by Vertex). That normally means the interviews are taking place behind the scenes. Good luck to you all.

Volume? The quote was, "So many going quiet on here." There were 9 posts in two weeks and 2/3 were from the same poster. Sounds to me like you are trying to stir something up just to get people talking. Of course everyone can interview and go wherever they like, but if no one is saying much to begin with, you can't comment that the silence is telling.
