Tenured rep here. I’m with you! Except for I’m the idiot that works a pretty full day Monday - Friday. I’m too chicken shit to not. I did have aspirations of moving ahead at Novartis but once you see people move up to ED or VP level 6/7 years after joining the company you lose motivation. Happy to ride the rep wave for as long as I can

You need to come over to Cosentyx and relax a while. No one over here works a full day or week and we are immune from cuts for the time being.

Haha I'm losing it over the KPI reports. Hey so can you add a note to this tracker explaining why you've only seen this T1 5 times and not 10 in T3? So lame!

come on over! I golf, I fish, I meet my GF for a nooner and no one gives a crap. I don’t even know what my manager does since I only hear from her to keep our stories straight.
 




My manager and I are close. He told me hold the reps more accountable during field rides. Plus managers will be doing more field rides. 4 days a weeks in some cases 5 if needed. Seems like they are blaming the reps for the poor performance. Hope you have a good manager who won't treat you like a PCR.

What numbers are we being held accountable for?
Our Leqvio syringes? Since we don't get data on those its tough to "hold us accountable".
The FTO's none of the offices want?
The AIC injections they refuse to tell us about?
Accountability goes both ways - Victor and the idiot brigade should think about cleaning up their own backyards before they come knocking on our doors.
 




Yikes I know some business units that managers are on a once a month rotation with each of their reps. Kill me! How is it different in each BU? Here I come Cosentyx team lol

the sad truth- they aren’t going to hold you accountable for RXs or Leqvio orders. Because they don’t care about actual numbers or paying people (they don’t care about paying reps) - they’re going to ‘hold you accountable’ on parroting their bullshit & closing.
 




All I know is according to my manager Vegas was all sunshine and rainbows. However, once he started talking in more detail about it, if you read between the lines, Vas and co. will stop at nothing to hit the goal of being top 5 in US. They are grasping at anything to get there i.e. more field rides, more metrics, improved selling skills, more calls per day, more emails to customers. You name it and they want more, more more. However, more isn't always better. In fact more usually blows up in your face. I predict a shit show implosion by early 2023 for several TA.
 




If being mediocre means having a good quality of life then I call guilty. This is just a job and nothing more. Pharma is a joke and anyone who takes this job too seriously is more of a dope than the 3 clowns who run CV.

It is the disease of “more”…a monster that never gets full…where “enough”, is never enough.
