VeevaSystems vs. CegedimDendrite





Long time reader - 1st time poster here.

Here is my question for the CegedimDendrite defender;

If Veeva's business model is so wrong, then why are they kicking your a55 all over the Pharma industry?

I work for anofi Aventis and we are having a TERRIBLE time with alignining the correct customers into our diabetes territories.
Can this Veeva company make this an easier process for us? We are DYIN out here!

No, Veeva is a CRM or SFA platform. With this it is a garbage in, garbage out situation. If your data is not going into a CRM in good shape it will not come out in good shape.

You need to do a territory targeting & alignment project - look to ZS, MarketRx, AdvantageMS or maybe HMS (if you don't read their board here ;).

It is a combination of data cleanup (USPS scrub, general cleanse and de-dupe), targeting and alignment.
 




...it's not like there's a real answer to those questions. We know that he does not have the ability to affect change and help to bring innovative products & services to our customers because he is JUST an operational manager with a VP title.
As somebody wrote in an earlier post: Mark would not know a C, an R or an M if they landed on his lap.

I ALMOST am not bothered by their expensive upfront costs because it's something which we agree to. It's the absurd and recurring hidden costs of their systems and lackluster support which is frustrating to me.
 
























Amen brother-I got tired of payin for all those imports i'd see in their parking lot everytime i had a come to jesus meeting at their hq. Their main saas competitor is not any better. theyll soak you with servicing pricing

Hell, I'M tired of paying for all of their acqusitions!

It's funny how some of their sales pukes leave cegedimDendrite to create some new company with a perceived unique offering whilst creating a partner strategy with cegedimDendite which is strategically setup to be an acqusition; TargetSFA, SAI, Knowledgent, Skila, Optimizer, OpenQ..all just incremental little offerings which cegedim desperately pays dearly for in an acqusition (passsing that cost onto us customers). I'm not that foolish anymore. This organisation is just a washed up, bloated non innovator.

Is CD THAT out of touch with what we (your customers) face to think that a DEVICE in the hands of our sales teams would 'Save Pharma' ?? Really? REEEEALLY?

The guy who WAS in charge of CD innovation faced-off against the guy is is NOW the chief of technology strategy are bloviating about a device?

My god, people. How sad. How typical.
 




I think we all know that Cegedim is being beaten. Veeva has the story, the solution, and now the customer base. They have changed the landscape of CRM in pharma, and kudos to them for doing it so well. Cegedim could learn something from them.
